When you buy a macbook pro, and it comes with 2gb of memory, does EACH stick of memory only have 1gb? do I have to buy TWO sticks of ram that are 2gb a piece?

did u order 1066 mhz from mac sales cuz i've been lookin all over that website to find 1067 mhz of memory for my macbook and cant find any...does it make a difference?

there is no question that a solid state drive is way better and amazing..however they are currently too much for me to purchase..i am going to wait until they are cheaper for more memory

instead upgrade to a solid state drive. so much more worth it. you can boot up your mac in less than 15 seconds.

i dont know why the hell anyone needs 4GB of ram. it doesnt make your computer any faster you understand, it just makes it so you can do a lot of things at once. TBH, 1gb is fine for everyone thats not a professional video/photo editor.

based on the videos on your page, 2GB of memory is more than enough. yes, they are HD. if you are working with heavy 3d, which you arent, then thats planety. i can do those videos on your page on my old imac g4 with imovie hd.

Sug15, the SSD's look nice. But then, not for the price. Especially since not everyone has the same needs. A gamer is more liable to desire more ram and 7200rpm HDD over a $900 SSD. So what, I have to wait 30 seconds to boot rather than your 15? At least while I'm in system it will run my 3d intensive apps faster than that SSD alone will.
