  • When the drug addicts pay me back the $20+k in theft and property damage they have caused me, I will support lighter sentences. Until then, fuck them, they can rot in jail. Not surprisingly, not a single druggo has ever offered me a single cent to fix the damage they have caused. They are scum.

  • I'm sick of the media and government laughing when people bring the legalization subject up,it is not funny in the least bit.If you laugh you are laughing at the government mostly putting all the funding to law enforcement to go after drug offenders and letting the murder, rape and child molestation cases go because there isn't enough funding for them to prosecute those cases in court. So to the people that think it's funny,I hope that makes you feel safer everytime you leave your house. ASSHOLES!

  • that story of the mom and the son brought a tear to my eye

  • Amazing hypocrit dickhead

  • Listen to what he says at 4:20

  • The alcohol, nicotine and caffeine industries, along with the anti-depressant and sleep aid pharma industries will never allow marijuana to be legalized. Their bottom line will suffer because of a weed that anyone can grow. Originally the drug laws were put on the books to justify incarceration of minorities. They are still being used in that manner. I don't understand why anyone would want to get high or drunk in the first place. To forget troubles? Instead of fighting to overcome them?

  • @MarkRosengarten

    How's life in Disneyland?

  • @AllStarBugler I prefer Disney World, actually, but I haven't been there in 25 years or so. Or are you saying in a snarky tone that you disagree with my statement? Please share your opinion on this issue.

  • @MarkRosengarten I take issue with YOUR"snarky tone" in your last 2 phrases. Deal with your "troubles" your way and let others deal with theirs in THEIR own way. Your tone indicates that you are indifferent (at least) to the plight of those who suffer/have suffered under unjust, immoral, draconian drug laws based on lies, racism and greed. EVERY PERSON WHO SUPPORTS PROHIBITION is partaking in the biggest crime wave in US history.

  • @AllStarBugler You didn't read a single word I said, did you. I said exactly what you did. I was lamenting exactly the same point you are making. I don't see what your problem is. Drugs, at least marijuana, need to be decriminalized if not outright legalized. We have too many families that have been destroyed by these insane and, as you said, draconian laws. I don't understand where our disagreement is here. I think you completely misunderstood my position here.

  • @MarkRosengarten I read EVERY word you wrote and you speak with forked tongue. On the one hand you say you are on my side but on the other hand you say "I don't know why anyone would want to get high in the first place". That's condecending to say the least, and its prohibition talk at its worst. If you are going to fight for full out legalization, then your words ought to leave NO DOUBT! You are either for it or against it. There is no middle ground.

  • @AllStarBugler Forked tongue? Really? So if I said that the health care industry would never allow single payer you would also assume I am against single payer? I am rabidly for it, even though I have insurance. I don't need to smoke pot to support another person's right to smoke it. I don't need to be gay to support gay marriage. I am for all of it. If you need to win this argument so badly that you can't see that, then fine, you win. Feel better? I'm all for your right to win.

  • @AllStarBugler And so you are allowed to be snarky with me, but I can't do it right back? :) All I wanted was your opinion. How can we have a discussion if all you say is "How's life in Disneyland?" That's not an argument. It's an insult without any followup or context. We used to actually "discuss" things with other people and have "conversations"...I think the Internet has really gotten in the way of that.

  • @MarkRosengarten It kind of reminds me of the argument people are making that violent rhetoric doesn't cause violence...but criticizing violent rhetoric does. :) Maybe if everyone were to mellow out a little this country would be a better (and safer) place to live.

  • I can't believe that some people don't even know that federal drug laws aren't even constitutional.

If you guys care about the government taking your rights away, check this out DLA

its a Drug Law Awareness Campaign

watch?v=A3WBPek8jN4 - put this at the last part of your URL

  • it is all about creating more government jobs with Large Public PENSIONS

  • how about this for an argument.... they give us the pot.. people smoke more .. everyone chills out and lets the government do what ever the hell it wants :) everyone wins

  • It just goes to show how much special interests run this country, with their wealth and slick silver tongue's they are able to control enough of those we put in office (regardless of that individuals morals) to do their biding.

  • This guy deserves NO FORGIVENESS...NONE, the amount of damage to the MILLIONS of incarcerated and had their lives damaged...is irreversible. Remember this men and women used whatever substance they wanted before 1914 (Harrison Narcotics Act), and for hundreds of years before then, no jail time, no scrutiny. Hypocrites they are, in Sept 2007 a CIA Gulfstream jet crashed in the Yucatan in Mexico with 3.2 tons of coke on its way to the U.S., they ship the shit in, then jail your ass for cheap labor

  • @undergroundbasement Remember that he was on the inside of Government, and was brainwashed.. I think we should, and could forgive all these people if they came forward with a conscience, and admit they were wrong.. It could help change everything..

  • This guy and the rest of the political class are a creation of the State - which is a creation of the dellusions of the majority of the populace. Atleast he seems to be truly sorry for his role in everything - I forgive him.

  • good vid, this guys sayin what needs to be heard.

  • this guy is a joke. says this as soon as he gets out of office, he's just as much of a crook as the rest of the fools in DC

  • apologizing now is better than not saying anything, but it's NOT enough. at least, it's a beginning.

  • i was recently arrested for poss of marijuanna of 2 grams, and i was the passanger in a traffic stop and now i'm going to jail leaving two kids that need there father and a woman husbanbless due to poorly witten marijuanna laws..

  • @KINGxKENNEDY Fuck off seriously where do you live I have been caught with that amount lots they always just take it.

  • @KINGxKENNEDY May God be with you during these tough times! Fuck the police!

  • "We have spent, just in building new prisons, $30 Billion dollars in the last 10 years alone...not in new schools, not in new hospitals..."

    Priceless

  • What an asshole. If he feels so bad he should undo what he did, NOW... what an asshole. Screw the citizen for a political boot licking job. Fuck him and all the rest that have pulled these stunts and now think apologizing make everything ok.

    NOT OK.

  • from goat to hero...

    Eric Sterling

    Bob Barr

    Barry McCafferty

    educate kids with truth...

kids, pot won't kill you, but...

    MARIJUANA PROHIBITION IS THE GATEWAY...

-if the dealer is out of pot, they'll offer something else.

-if ADULTS were able to purchase 'legal' cannabis products, they'd have no use for the 'inventory-challenged dealer'.

cops need to stop sniffing @ people's doors, and start checking shipping containers, and tracking pedophiles.

  • Man, I feel like crap for getting 'high honors' in the DARE program my school ran. They gave me a medal and everything. :(

The girl mentioned at the end is probably SO PROUD that she destroyed the lives of her SUPER SUCCESSFUL PARENTS just because of an organization that rewards you with plastic medals and useless certificates of achievement.

  • What an honor for you to speak up and admit your wrong doing. i thank thee sir

  • The CIA are the Biggest drug dealers out there! They do not want drugs legalized because they sell and use that money to buy black market weapons to distribute to other countries to help in black op agendas! They also use the money to fund alot of their OFF THE RECORD black op projects. They have funneled the money into the Underground bases and other projects around the globe! At some point you have to take a stand and fight back! Don't underestimate a pissed off American with an AK47!

  • So true and really need to look no further to find the world terrest (CIA) that likely still employ Bin Laden. The old and dumb need to wake up and see the real threat.

  • This guy's got balls

  • I'm glad Ronald Reagan is dead.

  • You know, My children had the DARE program and they had a scratch and sniff card and was actually told to report anyone that smells like those stickers. My kids came home and told me about it. Yes, they are to report drugs and over use of booze in the home or at someone elses home. They themselves said, why tattle on someone if you didnt see them do it they just smelled bad? I said You have a great point and I agree.

  • Great point indeed! I remember going through DARE as a kid and being told to do the same thing. I thought the same as your children. Why tell on people for smelling bad? Your children are very smart and you listening to them proves you are a very smart person and great mom. Parents should be the ones educating their kids about drugs. NOT cops.

  • You are right we should be the ones educating them not the police. The other point about the Tattling part is, I taught my kids differently about telling on others that you have to know for sure because you dont want them to get in trouble if they really didn't do anything. For instance, telling on their sibilings. So the police basically said to them, you don't have to have real proof...so forget what your parents taught you

  • Canada would have legalized cannabis from the early 70s but fear mongering from the USA stopped that dead.Threatening to tighten border, sanctions and inside corruption etc.The drug war is big business that they will not let go easy and have the media capability to convince the elders of made up dangers to them.If drugs were not controlled meanwhile making them self filthy rich just a big scam.WAKE UP

  • the 2012 presidential candidate that DECLARES they are going to dismantle marijuana prohibition in their campaign will get my vote!

until then support EVERY initiative to legalize marijuana...oregon, california, washington...

ALL candidates for EVERY public office should be asked the question...

are YOU for or against prohibition?

if Pres. Obama and/or AG holder re-schedule marijuana and hemp, i will consider voting for Obama,... but...

i will not accept any promise before then.

  • Funny he said it's like Soviet Russia. In fact, it's worse, about 3 times worse.

  • My calculations came out to 2.9252612 times worse... I'll look them over again though.

  • lol

  • It Probably wouldn't be so hard to admit we were wrong and change the laws if H. Anslinger Had Never Convinced Other counties to take on the exact same drug laws...If we retract the laws... all the other countries that adopted the same laws will be like WTF.... and that's a huge stopping point for politicians willingness to stop this insanity.....Drugs Don't make Criminals Drug Laws Do.......

  • Our country didn't exactly "convince" other countries to accept these drug laws.. Unless your definition of convincing is threatening other nations with military action?

  • And tariffs and the like yes.... that's what I meant by convinced =)

  • The USA has no right to pressure any other country to make the laws that the US wants them to make. No right at all. If I were the Govt in Australia I would have told the US rep who tried to convince them not to or else to fuck off. The US has no business butting their nose in other Govt's legislation. Drugs do not make the criminals indeed. Drug laws made by real criminals do. Wonderful quote my friend.

  • When marijuana was illegalized the guy who did it went to the UN were he pretty much mad ethem make a law were if its legal in the USA, then its illegal around the world. Attempt to take over the world?

  • Also look at it this way..... police systems are making people turn on their friends and stab their own parents in the back.

Just because something smells like weed doesn't mean that it's weed. Ever burn sage and sweetgrass? They smell A LOT like pot when burned together, when they are burned together it is for a native tradition called a smudge.

I smell and taste weed randomly, never 100% sure if it is weed or not, but I perk up.

  • Remorse.

  • I just wish the governments of the world - especially that of the United States -would all have the balls to admit they were wrong and change the laws in one fell swoop... Now they're just quietly trying to sneak themselves out of the mess they've brought onto themselves.

  • Canada is just as high up there as the US as well. Except no one is showing remorse, they are still treating pot like its herion or something! Someone find a way for forward this organization to Stephen Harper. I vote that LEAP goes to Parliament to protest.

  • A little off topic, but the US has pulled troops out of SA, theyre letting them grow cocoa, and now theyre reviewing their entire drug policy!!!!
