I have a question for you though. Is it essential to kill the pet? I know I get Victory Rush from it and lower the dmg a bit but at the same time you leave him a lot of free time to dps you while receive no dmg at all and hell lot of time to run away to a great distance which means more dmg gonna do to you when you try to get back to him. Does the Victory Rush heal really worth it? Cant you compensate it by get close to him all the time?
