Believe me, they are WAY more scared of you than the other way around. As menacing as they may look, they will do everything they can to stay as far away from you as lobsterly possible. I live in south Fl and go out every year during the very short lobster season down here and catch them. They  look much worse than they actually are. Believe me though, they don't want anything to do with you and always stay close to the ocean floor.
