If you listen to it, at some points the notes are a little faster and then slower, almost lagging behind the beat, indicating they are detuned samples. More than likely triggered on a 12 bit E-MU SP-1200 drum machine judging by the unmistakable characteristics of the drum sounds and subtle ringing artifacts on the guitar and bass. Just a few notes played on an old sampler by Easy Mo B or Chucky Thompson(?) I believe.
