His curtain call incident broke a lot of taboos and talented or not, he shouldn't have gotten off so easily. Lita, also talented, I can't give many props to because of her stepping out on Matt Hardy to sleep with Edge. It caused a lot of backstage turmoil and problems that nearly caused all three to have to leave the company, which Lita would end up doing anyway.

Wrestling was "real life superheroes" for kids and adults alike, they were more than entertainers and if you believe otherwise, you don't know much about wrestling history. People did not demand more promos. People did not take to The Rock because of his mic skills. They want to be entertained, not listen to drama.

True diehards of wrestling look at him and see a guy great on the mic, but he can't wrestle with his half-dozen move repertoire. And of course Triple H was the only one to be punished. he was the only one who broke kayfabe that stayed in the WWE.
