If you really want to get good at halo, play halo 2. Not only are the players on there are harder, but when you put your aimer over an enemy, it doesn't lock on unlike halo 3 where your aim slows down when you aim near someone eeven when you have a sniper.

one thing i didnt get about halo combat evolved, was that, THE SNIPER RIFLE IS WORSE THAN WHAT WE HAVE NOW. U CAN SEE THE BULLETS GO BY AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY DODGE THE SNIPER BULLET. but why do the halo snipes have like 4 clip mag, what we have now is like 9 and 5 clip mags. but one thing that was "evolved" about the first halo, THE ASSAULT RIFLE HAD A 60 CLIP MAG, ITS THE BEST WEAPON EVER.

no the sniper in halo 1 was better it didnt have shitty auto aim so you had to be good to snipe no rando could just pick up the snips and clean house with it. Thats why there was at least 2 snips on most maps except for rat race if you knew anything about halo you would know the best halo aka halo 1 had the best sniper because it was no shitty auto aim
