Actually, you could enjoy SIX afternoons with Jack in the fall of 1964- that was the season MCA "leased" filmed repeats (1954-'64) of Jack's series [with some videotaped episodes] to CBS for a period of one year. Because Jack was appearing on NBC in prime-time on Friday nights, the Monday-Friday repeats were shown as "THE JACK BENNY DAYTIME SHOW", and on Sundays as...previously mentioned below. Almost all of the filmed episodes (about 104) then went into syndication in the fall of '65.
...and the closing credits and theme confirm this (Mahlon Merrick wrote a new theme for the "reissue" series). The opening title for those episodes had a jaunty animated parade of instruments, with the violin falling out of its case, revealing the title- "'SUNDAY WITH JACK BENNY'!".
John Daly, of course, was the well-known moderator of "WHAT'S MY LINE?", which appeared right after "CANDID CAMERA"...which followed Jack's prorgam.... on Sunday nights at the time this episode aired. At 6:07, Jack originally said, "Well, that's it for tonight, folks...and I'll be seeing you next week, for Lipton Tea.", after which he casually strolled off-stage. This episode was actually rebroadcast on "SUNDAY WITH JACK BENNY" during the 1964-'65 season [on Sunday afternoons, 5pm(et)]....
