I just got home from working the nightshift and my 8 yr old son's hamster was dead in her cage, we'd only had her a few weeks and she seemed in good health.I haven't got a clue why she died, we fed her hamster mix from the pet shop and occasional treats like nuts, raisins, etc, and changed her drinking water every day.I hope my son doesn't take it too bad, it was his first pet.

I had an orange rex rabbit named Jasper (the pet store named him but i decided to keep his name as it suited him well) and he died on May 28th at the age of 6, and it tore a hole in my heart :'( i miss him sooo much.He had a nerve problem i diagnoised through a book (didn't want to take him to vets cuz they'll put him down) and he was expected to live for only 2 morew weeks.. 3 MONTHS he fought on for! :)
