  • great video....can you do a budget for me with 40 for the entire week including dog food, cat food & litter? thanks.

  • Any canned meat is a complete protien so yes, corned beef is a complete protien. Basically if you eat a whole grain with legumes or peas you create a complete protien. The science is sketchy but people have been living off of grains and beans for centuries.

  • We ate tons of chilliemac the Army.

  • I love Kroger they have great deals. all the time

  • I only began prepping last month. if i had known, i would have started last year 2011..In a few months people will realize most preppers were far sighted.

  • Go to a health food store and get 35% food grade peroxide. H202. It will run about 9 bucks but it HAS to be diluted to 11 to 1. so one once of H202 will make 11 oz's . You can also add it to drinking water to make it good .

  • chili mak ya baby!!! butt chili is tomato base the shelf life is not long! and yes Aspartame is poison stop drinking your pop!

  • One cool thing about your chilli mac combo is that it creates a complete protein... meaning that it contains all the amino acids (building blocks of our bodies) that is found in meat. Having meals that contain complete proteins are neccesary for survival. Bravo!

  • @iluvdaizeys how about corn beef hash? I love that stuff

  • umm uhhh

  • Very informative videos. Thank you. I have one question, if everything starts going down do you think that stoves, microwaves, and other electricity-required appliances will be working? How can we cook our stored goods without the electricity? I don't think the electricity companies will be operating.

  • @Fatima1994B you have to keep that into consideration..... lp gas stoves require no electric... butane, propane, white gas camping stoves... use a little thought when it comes to survival...

  • I've eaten that my whole life .

  • 10 month's later how much of that food do you still have?

  • @mreastky I'm about out of room to fit anymore

  • Dried beans are the best survival food, a storage life of 8-10 years at a stable temperature of 70 degrees F. They should keep proportionately longer if stored at cooler temperatures, high in protein and can be used for trade.

  • Anybody That's Been in the ARMY Knows What CHILI-Mac is

  • To be honest, that sounds pretty darn appetizing to me.

  • Found your videos today and thanks - at first glanse I thought the bottles to the left were vodka or rum (my hero I thought) - however all good stuff.

  • Great post! I am working with a similar situation. I am at the staples in mylar pouches with o2 removers in 5 gallon pails stage at this point. Nice tip on the mac and cheese boxes. Never tried it with water alone. I must try that.

  • it is sad that we have come to this. the situational awareness is wonderful. it is just a shame we the people have been put in this situation. thx lbp!

  • i am a liver Surgeon keep my contact info.(enclosed) u will need it.

  • @2hatelibs1 I have one in my preps...one is none two is one..thanks though mommy

  • @2hatelibs1 what are you saying, something about his food that will damage his liver? I want to know because I don't want to make mistakes on stocking food.

  • Dude, the boxed goods do not store long. Pastas and noodles are the worst. These only last about a year. Be very careful with food in plastic jars, many are not real plastic anymore but rather a plastic made from corn starch, these degrade fairly rapidly (designed for composting)

  • only problem with the chilli beans is that is blows the ass clean of ya the next day!

  • @badslabber Its tasty and it cleans you out of old nasty shit, sounds like a win win =)

  • I think thats called shopping!

  • If you really spent that much, you got screwed. You said the chili and the mac and cheese were both 2/1.00, the peanut butter was .79 cents and the hydrogen peroxide was .99 cents. That comes to 11.56. If you go back and look, my guess is that it would have been 2/1.00 if you bought 10, same with the mac and cheese and probably the same with the peanut butter. (our Kroger has the same kind of deals.) I think you need to double check before paying. kind of like the 3.00 off the next purchase. :)

  • That's all Kroger brands but the receipt says fry's. I don't get it, do they sell kroger brand there?

  • @MandyPigtails Fry's is owend by Kroger

  • @LowBuckPrepper dillons owes kroger here i kansas.

  • @LowBuckPrepper ok that makes sense :)

  • @MandyPigtails It's like Walmart and Sam's Club, we all know they're the same company.

  • @MandyPigtails fry's,Kroger ,and food lyon and a few other food stores are all owned and operated by a company called delta managment.

  • I love chilimac but never thought to figure out the calorie benefits. Great info! Thanks

  • I'm a Boxer lover, but love my American Bulldog even more. He is about 80 pounds but solid as a rock! Great home protection, first line of defense. My boy is a hybrid mix of Standard and alopaha blue blood bull dog. I guess that's how you spell that Old Indian word.

  • Great video and good food combo's.. Hey is that an American Bulldog or Boxer??

  • @auburnrain916 150 lbs of 100% American Bulldog my friend

  • @auburnrain916 150 Lbs of protein? Who said that? I hope he doesn't eat fluffy!!!

  • Nicely done sir.

  • Just wanted to add, Sunday Saver is a website that has all the national stores circulars on it. We look through our local stores for the deals, make a list of who has what and for how much. Then take those prices to walmart and they will price match everything on the list for you. For store brand products just get the wally world equivalent {great value usually} and they will honor it. We feed a family of 3 on a strict 100$ a week budget {less than 1.70 per person per meal} Great way to stock up

  • LowBuckPrepper i love what ur doing here but u do realize most people have no idea what it feels like to have an empty belly, and know even less about food. To most food comes from the store. U should have a video about growing some of ur own food, even just herbs and veggies in a small plot, i had a friend that cultivated beans and such in a window box. PS keep up the good work, u have inspired to to start stock piling in earnest.

  • @sandyski100 I agree, that's why there is an 8 part series in my videos on container gardening

  • I love the water storage, Nice!

  • When you build up your short term food storage you can just buy what's on sale. I'm working on my long term storage and just ordered a bunch of #10 cans of food from Provident Living Center. I will do a video when it is delivered. Putting water in soda bottles works well. We have a chest freezer and I freeze some of the bottles of water in there.

  • This was fantastic. Thank you, sir.

  • looks like your puppy wants some of your drink. ;) Pretty dog. My mouth dropped when I saw your bottles, then I thought that HAS to be water! LOL Apparently, according to the comments, it is!

  • epsom salt, baking soda, iodine, sea salt, alcohol for drinking but also medecinal tinctures, forget drinks [soda] that contain artificial sweetners. lots of seeds and beans for sprouting, fresh sprouts are nutritious. healthy oils,non-hydrogenated oils provide good energy, better than over processed carbs

  • do you have supports for your water storage setup?

  • @smoke360ful nope, just stacked and has held since I started it in Dec.

  • The mac and cheese with chilie sounds good.....I used to eat mac and cheese with any kind of beef and loved it.

  • this is the way to do it ....Go man Gooooooo

  • That's how I shop, find huge sales on items you need and stock up when possible. I mean granted you couldn't buy a years worth of something like eggs, or fresh vegetables but canned goods, will keep on a shelf for years even after the expiration date, which is actually just a sell by date and most people don't realize that, they think that on that date they need to throw it away.

Once again great video, very educational.

  • I love survivalist videos that have random guns lying around with no connection to the topic.

  • I like you idea.... but you don't actually have real food....lol.... You would have done better to get rice and beans and stuff like that.... The stuff you brought will kill you lol.... Good luck friend!

  • Hi, what kind of bottles do you store your water in??

  • @Lybastolen it's all Coke and Whiskey bottles

  • I watched the couponing videos and learned how to get all name brand items CHEAP! 101 food items from Krogers for $33. Check out coffee with Collin. Or learn to coupon with Jenny (not sure of her youtube user name, but the website is Southernsavers) Last week at krogers, you could have bought a years worth of noodles (elbow or spag.) to feed a family of 4 (once a week) for $25

NOTE: Kroger Mega sale is going to start again anytime now....You can save a HUGH amount of money.

  • Just found your channel. Awesome vid!! That's exactly the way I'm prepping as well. Can't beat those BOGO deals. God bless.

  • Thank you for putting me back in check. I've been a prepper for years and just recently found out that there was a name for people like me. I've been watching a lot of great prepping vids and was starting to get overwhelmed as I'm on a tight budget and there are so many things I don't have. Your do what you can when it's cost effective attitude is exactly what I needed as I started to get a little carried away. keep up the good work I look forward to more low buck stockin up:)

  • Good channel I subbed. Coke Zero has Aspartame - which is poison.

You may want to dedicate some hours to researching Aspartame and other Artificial preservatives here on youTube.

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch I figure the whiskey will sanitize it....just kidding, I'll check it out and thanks....LBP

  • Yeah baby, Jimmy Beam!!! Just subscribed!

  • thanks for sharing your steps, tips, advice - much appreciated.

Am over in Europe, Slovakia - not sure how volatile the situation is over here in comparison to everything I hear/find/read about the states...in fact I would be interested to hear from people in general about the situation out of the states...

anywho - thanks again - could you explain the purpose of the hydrogen peroxide please?

so, good luck - hope you don't have to use your stock! peace!

  • @cjl85uk Hey Bro, I've had a couple requests for this, so I just completed a video specifically on the topic of hydrogen peroxide that should be uploaded by the end of the day. Thanks for checking in. LPB

  • Good job! Store what you eat and eat what you store!

  • Good job! You are getting a good supply. It takes time, everytime you go to the grocery store spend a few bucks and get some extra stuff. It builds up in no time.

  • Really enjoying your vids!!!! Kudos from North Idaho....Keep them coming.

  • nice job!

  • chili mac is great, add in rice as an extender, you could feed 5 people on the 1 can and box of chili mac

  • Yeah i stock a few bottles of tactical everclear and crystal light. If SHTF me and my brother would mix one up

  • nice vid

  • i am really enjoying your channel, keep up the great work!

  • Good start. Keep buying a little at a time, and it'l grow faster than you would think. Just don't eat it. That would be a problem for me since i just love chili mac. LOL

  • how many whiskey bottles do you have back there? What kind of tactical whiskey is that?

  • @sauerOFkraut I don't want to even count them, might just push me to drink! lol

  • @sauerOFkraut Tactical Whiskey..I like that!

  • Nicely done buddy! Keep 'em coming!

  • Chessy chili mac!

Love it! And its cheep and easy.

  • I thought everyone ate Chilimac. I think that is one of Hamburger Helpers best sellers.

  • @KainanRa LOL..I never thought of that, however hamburger helper, store brand is about a buck. Then you need to buy the meat, hard to long term store. Plus this includes beans, more protein, and this is a hell of a lot easier preperation and at only a buck total with a very long storage life. But good call. I actually thought I was being creative. Thanks for the input bro, LBP

  • @LowBuckPrepper We make ours the same way as you. A can of chili and bulk macaroni noodles. The only thing we add is grated cheese. Of course that wont be that easy with food storage. I am really going to miss cheese. : ( Keep the vids coming.
