  • cant wait until i have the honor of becoming an Australian soldier

  • fantastic video, more like these.

  • AMAZING VIDEO

  • Greatest Video OF ALL TIME

  • u parasites live off our tax money, the reason you go to those places is to rape babies, kill ppl, and get ur nuts off, dont tell us any lies, we know abt u

  • Austrailia is the best ally we ever had.

  • according to the official historian there were 10 australian "citizens" in the D-day landings, of that only 3 were infantry attached to the english engineers. it is also said that German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel said to Hitler "give me on Australian battalion and i will win the war"

  • @strokeseat1 dream on, its said that a lot of diggers bit the dust in Galipoli, thats fact the rest is fantasy

  • @vlad1915 have you ever looked at the national archives? everything i said was stated in there, the reason Rommel stated that, was due to just over a division of Australians (14,000 men) plus 12,000 British and Indian soldiers held Tobruk against Italian and German forces, during the siege the Panzer division's suffered their first ever defeat. World War One for the most part glorified by Charles Bean, but doesn't mean it is untrue. Get your facts right hero.

  • @strokeseat1 Archives are there to be manipulated, no one in his right mind can believe anything that comes from the top, Cause as we all know, they are all lying, Twisting the facts and history, Bingo,

  • @vlad1915 you cannot deny the fact that Germany lost that fight! it has happened, and both sides agree over how many troops were involved, just because you are ignorant does not mean you are correct. I admit that Napoleon was correct "history is written by the victor" but that does not mean it is incorrect, maybe exaggerated but not incorrect.

  • @strokeseat1 Most of history is a sham, It was also written by imposters, And it doesnt matter really, Since no war has ever brought any

progress to mankind, And empires were toppled and once great kings have turned into dust, There is nothing to show for, If you consider how much money and how many resources were wasted, Only land has changed hands, Thats all,

  • @vlad1915 so your saying the jet engine is not progress? that was invented during WWII by the germans, radar, by the British, effective heavy machinery by the americans. are you saying this is not progress. im sure you have caught a plane in your life, purchased something from a retailer that used heavy haulage AND guess what? your mobile phone is a by-product of war. i suggest you give up as i have proven ou wrong on every one of your arguments. war is not glorious but it happens.

  • @strokeseat1 i meant that despite of all this tech progress.., most of mankind dont benefit from it, That is what i meant. And if it really all came from the military, at what cost? That is what we must look at, Innovations would have happened anyway. Nearly every day a new star is discovered, But..., we still dont know anything other then the huge distances. We have no answers to anything but a few things, That concern the ruling classes and their soldiers

  • @vlad1915 i guess we should have left the germans alone during world war two and focus on global warming, it didnt really matter that they were responsible for over 50 million deaths duuuuuuuuuurrrrrr

  • @fowlkenz we cant change history anymore. So why bother about the past,

  • @fowlkenz ah come on, dont be so stingy, whats 50 billion? Still nearly 7 billion left, So we drop a few nukes if need be. and another 1 billion might just perish in the famines. Relax. Ah yeah and the US might just take out

a few millions in Iran. There is always a solution, And whats even better. Its all in the name of democracy and world peace

  • well in WWII the supreme allied command expected the japanese to overwhelm our defenses but Australians whether big or small fought them off, even though greatly outnumbered.

  • @divad1200 didn't fight them off as you think. we just retreated until their supply lines faltered, similar to how ours were when our troops were in Kokoda and Isurava, in fact anywhere along the track, just the closer they got to port Moresby our supply line got shorter...

  • I love Australia.

  • @vlad1915 go have a wank with you imaganery dick your an parasites saying soilder are idiots the only reason why you get to say that is because soilder fought for the very right for you to say that so go fuck your mum

  • cool vid

  • @MercOhra it is a cool vid but it is based on the military - we know better

  • this is a very good video, and a lot of it excites me about my current enlistment process in the army (hope im in soon) but lets face it ppl, the whole sparkling words with a red background and playing a rock waltzing matilda...is pure wank

  • I hate when people rag on the Australian army. I'm american, and I know we could not have won WWII without their sacrifice. Especially in key battles like d-day.

  • to be more precise, WWII wouldnt have been able to win without Alan Turing more than any other one man alone. D-day wouldnt have been possible without him

  • @Nassault630 Australians were involved in D-Day? I thought we only sent a small force of Naval and Air Forces

  • ofcorse they were involvd in D day they wer involved with every war

  • @craigedwards1992 yes, correct, but D-Day was not a war, it was a single operation of World War Two, to my knowledge, we did play a large role fighting the Italians and Germans in Africa, but during the time of the Normany Invaision, Australia's Army had its hands tied with a much closer problem: Pushing the Japanese back...to my knowledge only Australian Air and Naval forces took part in the D-Day invasion,

  • yer but they were involved in D-day

  • @craigedwards1992 yeah but the yank who was praising the Australian Army (for which I dearly thank him and am grateful that people appreciate our country's contribution) was saying that WWII could not of been won without our involvement (argueable, but I agree) and in key battles such as D-Day, im sure our contribution helpped out, but in the end D-Day could of been achieved more or less exactly the same without our minute involvement

  • @Aussiepsycho1 Start reading then becouse we fought in Europe many times and yes we did have ground troops on D-Day. If you knew so much about the war you would have noticed on doc's of D Day that there was Poms,Aussies,Americans and French that all pushed back Germany. Then your war was over Aussies and America still had to fight the Japs as the poms sat on their ass. This is why Australia and America are close

  • @fpvshitsonhsv in kokoda thats correct

  • @craigedwards1992 and the only Army personnel that may of been involved would be a very very very very very very very small amount embedded with british forces

  • @Aussiepsycho1 * "My God, I wish we had [the] 9th Australian Division with us this morning." Maj. Gen. Freddie de Guingand , Chief of Staff, Allied Land-force Headquarters Europe, D-Day, 1944.

  • Hilarious, my commented has been voted down three times. People are awesome.

  • haha idiots i dont get why they dont like the comment, because you know someone? lol

  • Its a small Army alright, I went to Kapooka with the woman talking about leadership at the start.

  • i want to be a australian soldier

  • I'm in this video.

  • What frame? When? Just curious. I'm 12 and when I am old enough I realy want to join.

  • hey mate i'm 12 as well i'm going to join cadets soon it's just as good and i'm going to joing up when 18

  • Good luck. Unless you start treating your members better the majority of inteligent people will stay away from, or leave, the Army in favour of the private sector. A friend recently told me that he viewed the Army as providing a career for those who were unable to get a job elsewhere. I am an ex-Soldier and now a Pilot. I hate to say it but the Australian Army is the most unprofessional organisation I have ever worked for.

  • i just passed my ADFA intefview...

  • good luck

  • im proud to have been and again in jan will be an Australian Soldier
