This is a beautiful song for a beautiful movie. As an american we learned of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, however, this movie taught me that the Japanese bombed Darwin, Australia as well, something I had never heard. Nowla was just endearing.

Good questions you ask..I want to make films myself but I believe the emotionaly moving parts of the story are the themes of injustice, common humanity, the innocence, purity and magic embodied in Nulla; and themes of roles of mother, father, loss, displacement of the child; and the love that trascended race and hatred of the social conventions of the time.

All interwoven in a story of hope. I really loved this film.
