I think (for some insane reason) after the Good Guy company's 'Evil Possesed Doll' controversity faded the owner decided to re-start the doll line and to show everything was back to normal they re-made a doll out of the destroyed plastic remains of the evil one (Chucky). But the posessive soul of that evil guy was still in it so the doll came back as evil (I Think).
