Nice foot work. You should try that with the other foot. How's my drumming? It's not really fast..but it's hard to follow what I'm doing. Yet it still sounds the same. How does this pedal hold up compared to chain? When I did that with my double camcoe pedals & it wore the teeth off and I had to exchange the other side. Just 3hrs b4 the gig. Phew!! Keep up the great work.

i use a variation of that, and sometimes i do heel-toe. it just depends on what the beat/groove calls for. also, i don't bury my beater. i let it hit and come off the head. major difference in sound.

@Tamaslammer thanks, and i've seen quite a feew do the heel toe as you say - but very few do it constantly at speeds above 700bpm! and believe me: i've searched! Heel up is a much more common technique. And yeah, there's allways room for improvement! Anyway, nice combo's between the rolls on the snare and your foot patterns!

The bottom line is it's all about technique.

You can do what I do on just about any pedal while wearing any shoes or even barefoot.

Half the time I wear flip flops when I play... : )

You can do this on any pedal as long as you slide correctly and keep the pedal loose. If you look at some of my lessons, I'm doing the same stuff I do here on an old crappy Pearl pedal. : )
