That's a good service especially if you live close to Kobe airport. Airport limousine (coach) from Kansai to Sannomiya takes about an hour and is pretty comfortable. But the boat trip looks more fun!

When I've traveled to DongGuan, I take a very similar type boat from HK airport to Shenzhen, although your 'ride' looked cleaner.

I once took a hydrofoil across the English Channel about 20 years ago. It was really fast and felt amazingly like riding an airplane.

Cool ferry. I took the ferry from Busan to Fukuoka once. It was fast but it wasn't as nice inside.

Thanks for posting this. I use the Bay Shuttle every time I go to Japan (Kansai to Kobe then trains to Itami), but it's always dark when I get there so I never can see anything outside the window.
