theres no such thing as FMS.its not even in books, its a consipracy. yeah they will try to put false memories in your head but. you cant just make up some disorder that doesnt exist to make it sound so extreme. both sides of the fence on the debate of whether or not reppressed memories exist have made up totally unreasonable bull shit just to bring in money, grab attention, etc.! but its the public's fault for buying this shit and fueling it.

@hdgv214 @hdgv214 I have an uncontrollable way of lying and I tend to take those lies to extent to the point were I think they actually happened. But this has to to do with my short term memory in which I forget certain things usually numbers, locations, words, events, names ect. I also suffer from blackouts & seizures. I get confused very easily with a simple lie and with the truth I take meds for seizures & anxiety. So don't say is a conspiracy when you haven't even been through what I been!

@TheTrailerCREAT0R dude im not saying that false memories aren't a real thing trust me i would know as well, it fucking ruins my life... im saying its not a syndrome. they are taking something and making it look like something else. i have depression and have delusions where i think of the worst things possible and believe them and start to remeber things that never happened... its not a syndrome. i wasnt born that way. I became this way, from being fucking mentaly and emotionally abused.

my so called "false memory" was called a manic delusion from my psychiatrist mother because the guy that fucked me in the ass as an 11 year old kids was a good friend so I was called "psychotic" and was punished to 3 months in a nut ward for using Aqua Net and a Bic to get back at the asshole who smirked at me for doing what he did and he got off because I was "nuts"... that is false memory syndrome for ya! no satan or aliens here just hell of a shit system.

After many years of suffering from flashbacks of my abuse as a youth, I confronted my abuser. Of course I was told I was crazy, that I needed to see a shrink. I went to one and within the first 40 minutes of talking to me, the first thing he threw out there as a possible explanation is False Memory. I'd never heard of it. He gave me some pills and told me to come back in a month. I never went back.

I think that is a great way of getting rid of patients who might become a little complicated.

Ever think that it was false memories? It's better than ending up locked away with a doctor with a mission to steal all your money. GOD I wish I had your doctor 20 years ago!!

I agree with you on the latter. I shouldn't have felt so offended, I need to look at the bright side, his dismissive attitude saved me a bunch of time and money.

As far as false memory , it is certain that it was all very real, (videographic evidence was eventually discovered.

psychiatry is by and large a crock, usually only the bottom of the barrel among doctor graduates go into it. good luck with your situation.

R.A is rife. The world needs to wake up to this. And a Therapist wouldnt be suggestable, in my experience they are the opposite - which is suggestable in itself.

sorry to be somewhat contrarian. but R.A. is nothing more that regular folks engaging in child sex and trying to produce a cover for their actions. True R.A is very rare. , most of it is just a cover in the event the child remembers anything, the recounting of the memory would be so improbable the child would not be believed. most of these kids have been drugged somehow.

I know, I lived through it.
