  • thanks for the info

  • Commercial airliners have autopilots that can completely fly the plane from takeoff to landing, but you wouldn't want the pilot to skip his training for takeoffs and landings. The headlock mode is kind of like an autopilot. It's there as a benefit to reduce stress, but you really should spend the couple of dozen flights to get that rudder learning under your belt. It will become 2nd nature. From the factory I have found that the King 3 rudder rate gryo setting is good.

  • My response to "oysterlicker" below....You said that "You should always hover with headlock on." There is probably various schools of thought on this. And you might be correct if you have certain goals. My assumption here is that you want to learn how to fly with the skillset of controlling the rudder function. Skipping this step would seriously hinder Luke Skywalker from becoming a Jedi Master!

  • This is a very helpful video. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Hi i have a problem, when i turn on my transmitter the led above dont turn on... it happens since i put a battery with out charge... when i put a batteries with full charge it doesn`t work too... you lnow anything about this? is the transmitter for my belt cp v2

  • great video!

  • The headlock switch is put on improperly. 0 = headlock on. 1=headlock off. Might have to twist the switch 180 degrees. This way, 0= rate mod/headlock off, 1= headlock on. You should always hover with headlock on. You WILL crash with headlock off aka rate mode, because you will be constantly correcting the rudder. Do not turn it off unless your heli is setup not to drift the rudder wildly in rate mode/headlock off.

  • Great Video Glen, For us old-timers that have been Fartin around with these heli's, we take for granted that this is common knowlage but it is not for the peeps just getting into the hobby. Kudo' to you bro for takin the time.

  • Thx good video
