there's like a song about a windmill, and it's video is mind breaking it's called feel good inc., lol i just had to get it out of me this vid reminded me of it.
There is beauty in this as scupture. Why don't they have solar thermal power generation between the windmills? There is also plenty of sun, and more energy.
I never really paid attention to where and how many thee are. That tour sounds like fun. I wonder what they do when the Santa Ana Winds come through. I would think those winds could really store up a lot of energy!
You know I drove through there recently and they have windmill tours now as well. Aren't there more windmills out there in the California desert too? Like I remember when I was little that I saw a sign, "Beach Cities" and windmills on a mountain ridge top with a darkened sky.
I'm sorry... are you saying the desert isn't a photographer's play ground??? If so, you clearly have no idea what a desert looks like. It's as raw as creation itself, and as complex as these windmills- dicotomy at its finest.
No That's not what I was saying but I understand how you misread that. I meant to say that it's hard to see the beauty of the desert with all the windmills in the way! I find the desert beautiful! That's why I love to photograph it. The video is about windmills ricksd!

From a Photographer's point of view it's hard to see the beauty in the desert with the windmills in the way, from a enviromentalist's perpective I think it's a good thing, from a person who lives there big ugly steel things. I'm unclear too! Mrs. GeezerArt

Fantastic song great voice! I'm not sure what to make of the windmills myself. A blot on the landscape or a planet saving thing of beauty.
