I saw Mary Poppins in broadway about 4 weeks ago. I totally loved it, it was awazing. I saw Laura Michelle Kelly and Gavin Lee - (The original london west end cast!) They are both fantastic performers but I especially love laura michelle kelly. I love her musical theatre side, but I also listen to her albums and I was so excited to see her in Tim Burton's 'Sweeney Todd' Film.

I saw the show in Chicago and it was breathtaking! The scenes were well put together, and the actors and actresses were superb! The music was entertaining and the whole thing was a fantastic experience! I would recommend this musical to anyone!

If anybody has the Mary Poppins sound track, you should really listen to the song 'anything can happen' over and over again. That song has given me so many little bits of inspiration recently. It's a great song and Laura Michelle Kelly sings it so well.

I just noticed towards the end that they have an actual band playing the music. when I saw Cats on tour it was just recorded music and it was muffed in the room. When I saw Chicago in the same place and with a live band the music was so clear and wonderful. No musical should ever have to suffer through recorded music.
