TO ALL: "9 Velcro" is the play you must use for pass defense. It will stop almost any play except for when they run the ball. If they run the ball then you might be screwed (sometimes)

@MrMagma101 Ok with the Wii-mote you hold it straight at the goal post make your angle adjustments and then press and hold the A button and raise the Wii-mote straight up quickly and force BUT keeping it straight and you should get this right soon. Try going to the practice part and practicing this ok...

@SuperBrettfavrefan I say it is what feels most comfortable for you. I think horizontal is the most limited and mostly for beginners and kids, same with arcade for me. I would say conventional which is the Wii-mote and Chuk, but you can also use the CCP is should be called traditional, lol. I tried the CCP but I do feel like I like all the motions, you get more gamer error compared to the CCP but it feels more entertaining and on you to perform right to get the game won.

That's been my thing with these versions of Madden for Wii is that the players look like overdone cartoons and that the uniforms and equipment, particularly the facemasks, are arbitrary. It hurts the realism that Madden goes for and was present even on the PC version as early as Madden 2003 (if not earlier).

@thedjak29 Sorry it took so long, try pressing B to sprint up to a throw and swat down with pointing your Wii-mote down, if you are close to a throw hold down C or Z to strafe (can't think which one it is now off hand) and then point both Wii-mote and Chuk up for the interception.

I like the cartoon almost NFL Blitz look actually. But I would have to say don't worry, because next year's version should be the exact same thing because of the WiiU coming out in April of 2012...

@ArmaSeries actually, Yes I have played Madden's on Xbox/Xbox360, and PS1/2/3, Nintendo 64/Gamecube/Wii. My review is and was about the Wii's version and in Wii's 10 and 11, they really didn't animate that FG stuff, the D-line would just hug the O-line. One of my best friends happens to be one of the best in the world in Madden and has 360 and Wii. He was ranked top 100 on Xbox last year (not sure this year), and on Wii for 11 and 12 he is in the top 150 (maybe 200 in 12 not sure). Soooo...

@GHilightReel Yes for the 1st time in some years. They took away the superstar mode and added a create a player in Franchise mode. You can not have them in your regular rosters because of the on-line modes. @Gamerdude330 I would agree with you that Madden on PS360 is just a better and full over all game over the last years. But there is a big difference between Madden on Gamecube and on the Wii. I have said it before and again now the motion controls of the Wii give Madden such a totally different feel to this game. you actually feel like you are playing a football game because of your body movements compared to just pressing buttons. Plus it can lead to more gamer error by your motions.

@TCUTK2Lover It is funny because they had the menus hot routes, your play-book, and play-set packages for like 3 years now but after you make them you can't play them off-line or on-line. You can not make a whole new play at all, but you can "Call Your Shot" on offense and defense. So you can change the routes after you get tp the line. Also you can change up you audibles but on-line they auto set every game so you have to reset them every game...
