i love how polite you are to internet assholes. i train bjj and half these clowns probably dont even know the hard ass work we put into out martial arts. keep training!
Yes I understand what I was mearly pointing out is that , real life combat does not allow for a one two three shuffle throw. In almost all of the throws you do there, is inch nee son. Show us something where your uke is attacking you with either kari or ski, jodan chew don ect. The demison of the throw is altered. This resembles more Judo then Nin-Jitsu. Play with it make the technique adapt to the situation.
@TheShadowninja2010 yes you are right about trying them in an all out fight but if someone knows how to tie up the arms and use underhooks, it could work.
@TheShadowninja2010 Search Ronda Rousey's(Judo Bronze medalist) first MMA fight. She did this technique when the other fighter kicked at her, then ended the fight a couple seconds later with an armbar. Respect judo!

There is no weak techniques. People think that there are master techniques that will let down instantanly the rival, but if you see a judo championship, you will see that competitors almost do not move. If your rival applies an uchi gari, that is easy when you 2 are stopped, you must counter with ouchi gari.
I speak Japanese. I know what geri (keri) means. Nobody in Judo says geri instead of gari. they have different meanings. You write Osotogeri but you show Osotogari. I advise you to change you titles.
Are not all throws and sweeps for no-gi just modified versions of the original throws and sweeps?

@jensonscarrow I don't think all of them are. Many no - gi throws a a breed apart

Nice throws but try to do them when some one is punching at you and kicking at you.

@TheShadowninja2010 Respectfully, when done with a clinch this throw is a common one in MMA competitions.

Ouchi gari is supposed to be a sweep, not a hook to the leg.
YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

True, you're actually showing ouchi gake.

Right you are, wrong am I.
I will fix this A.s.A.P. not only here, but in our AKBAN-wiki database.

o uchi geri - No such technique
try Ouchi gari
dcweider 4 years ago
o is big, uchi means in between, geri is better pronunciation then gari to the japanese kick.
thanks for you remark, we'll add a redirect to straighten this one out in our database
