  • Look this guys playing an instrument and singing at the same time you don't get this on X factor

  • mark kings bass playing is awesome!

  • Eric Clapton and Jools Holland :D werw Level 42 got some connections ;)

  • Level 42 were awesome - Clapton out of this world as always. Not that i'm particuarly into him.. but wasn't Jools Holland playing on piano too???

  • Mark - the King!

  • what a phenomenal bassist!

  • My parents used to watch this concert on VHS when I was a kid. Now I'm looking for these songs on the Internet. I guess you could say it runs in the family.......

  • @acs1978aus Real music will last forever! 80s will still be great in 50 years time.

  • this video should be called "running in the family live with eric clapton". I mean its a pretty big deal that claptons in there

  • Why is it edited

  • Mark King very inspired here, nice version of the song for sure. I would love to hear them do an album with Clapton.

  • Great voice, great song, great artists, great band...

  • @epikuroarq It's called slap bass, if that's what you're asking. Great music!

  • @kinshasaAPP Thanks

  • how is that technic called, its amazing...

  • this has got to be one of the best princes trust concerts. I had not heard of level 42 until then - and Mark King absolutely blew me away.....

  • Is it just me or can I not here Mike Lindup too well? He seems to be drowned out in the mix...

  • midge ure was in the white........

  • Eric Clapton is playing?!

  • Who's the white dressed guitarist? I broke my head googling it =S

  • Midge Ure.

  • @morganroussel midge ure

  • I think this song needed a few more rhythm guitars in the mix :oD

  • I agree - but the whole mid tone is practically missing, despite the presence of several guitarists and keyboard players. Great lineup though!

  • Mark King is a kick-ass bassist!!

  • It could have been great if Mark Breznecki was Level 42's drummer

  • Haha, you are joking! Phil Gould was the ONLY man for this band. never the same after he went.

  • Mart3442: Am I right in saying Phil Gould walked out on Level42 in 1987 leaving them in the lurch whilst touring? Luckily Neil Conti (from Prefab Sprout) stepped in, learned the entire live set on extreme short notice and saved the day.

  • One of the best songs from the 80's.

  • Whats with all the dissing of Jools??

A great honky tonk rinky dink pianist. Squeeze roolz!!

  • very nice!

  • Jeez, I'd give my left nut to be on stage with Clapton.

  • wow what lineup of musicians playing with the band on this ! And I for one liked all of it ... Eric Clapton sounded awsome playing with Mark on stage :)

  • Mrk Breznecki from Big Country on drums

  • where can i get this on dvd!

  • me too... I was just 1 though...couldnt enjoy it, i guess:-)

    love them so much!

  • wish i was there 2 see that,,i was only 7,,,bummer!!!

  • I don't like midge ure or the horn section playing on this at all.

  • I don't like Jools Holland on this either.

  • wow! Can you hear Jools with all the band playing? Lucky you! If I didn't see him I wouldn't know he was playing.

  • Musicians ear.

  • Wow! Is that Eric Clapton jammin with them? Dope!

  • that is unbelievable! absolutely gr8.
