i remember watching game 5 live... nuggetts had to fight and crawl their way to a victory in that series, but they did it... they even push utah all the way to 7 games in the next series
#VIDEOPOSTERID# I mean if I, can dunk, then even you can. I am simply 5'6 geez! Basically be dedicated to a working jump system like the one over at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com |, it will increase your jump/rebounding and your first step in basketball.
I'm a 5'8 white guy and I can do 360 dunks. Anyone can do it, you just need to follow the right training program . I used the one at snipurl[dot]com/nbatraining but any training program is fine as long as they work
I miss the 90's Sonics with kemp and payton. also, what would Lebron and dwight be if there was no kemp? and what would kemp be if there was no jordan or nique? finally, what would those two be without the doctor, julius erving?
If this was gonna happen to any team.. yeah the sonics. Only they would be #1 in the entire fucking league and not be able to capitalize on three chances to win one more god damn game
Growing up, I believe I was the biggest Nuggets fan there was in the midwest. I lived in Missouri, and somehow got the Nuggets games on AM radio, and listened to every game. That was the single greatest moment in sports history for me. I wish I could purchase the video to the entire series. If you remember, Seattle never had an answer for Denver that season. I knew the Nuggets were going to give them a run for their money.
Actually, you are incorrect. The two teams met 4 times in the regular season, and Denver won 2 and Seattle won 2. Given the fact that Seattle's record was 63-19, I think that says quite a bit about a .500 winning percentage against Denver.
I actually had game 5 on tape for a few years after this... not anymore, its been long lost. Wish I still had it though I went nuts after this game and then they almost beat Utah the next round. I even had nicknames for me and my friends based off Nuggets players. I was Thomaso Ellis and my friend was Mikemoud Abdul-Rauf. LOL
Up by 3 in game 4, Kemp (who had a great series) missed both those free throws. When Pack hit that three to tie and send the game into OT, I felt sick to my stomach and knew we'd probably lose that game. You could cut the tension here with a knife heading into that Game 5.
Such a sad day in Seattle history, god that sucked, that was when we were 63-19, Bulls didnt have Jordan, I think Seattle would of won it all that year. Luckily we did go to the finals in 1996 but had to play the 72-10 bulls, Seattle managed to beat them twice in the finals and once in the regular season. If that 96 team would of played the 1997 bulls, I think they would of won too.
Still hurts. They show that Game 5 on NBA classic and I still won't watch it. Very frustrating, especially since we swept both the Rockets and the Knicks that year.
There was like an invisble cap on the hoop that wouldnt let Seattle score. We also didnt have a center, we did have a good answer for Mutumbo, the immigrant from the Congo.
I remember Marv Albert saying the following season "The Seattle SuperSonics the biggest bust in playoff history!" Man that was wrong I'm glad that I live in San Antonio.
i guess george karl is known for his first round exits. -coming from a die hard nugget fan.

If this, if that.
If they couldn't even get past the first round what makes you think they woulda won the championship.
Denver Nuggets all day.
quiksilverboy31 1 year ago
That was unbelievable. 99 times out of 100 the sonics would have won that series. The coin just happened to flip tails.

What do you mean Seattle didn't have an answer for Denver that season? Until the playoffs they won all the meetings except one. Idiot.

Still crushes me to see this....
We had them and let them get away....Took another loss the next season to the Fakershow to get them ready to make a run at the Finals in 1996...

nah they would've gotten beat in 97 too. The 96 team could have beat the 98 bulls.
To be fair, I really did like the 96 Sonics.
