lol omg...there's a mother and daughter at my church who has that same problem...when they get up from a chair or when they come out of a stall from the restroom their odor travels right behind them, i find it really sad and they have been spoken to privately by several females members of the church but i guess they don't care how they smell or what people think But to the guy about his co-worker i think he should pull her off to the side and tell her in a polite way about her little situation.

Vinegar and water soak at night does wonders, not douche but to clean the outer area, it's a natural deodorizer. Is there anyway he can anonymously put a gallon jug on her desk? LOL I know that's extreme but hey... Here's something you might not realize, if she suffers from allergies there is chance that her since of smell is actually dulled. 8 hours is a long time to be inhaling second hand smoke from someone elses 'front door' Just Sayin♥

i worked with this older woman who had a awful female odor and i complained to HR... guess what happened? I was fired! somehow it was turned around on me and I was told it was harrassment, mind you, I never said anything about it directly to her and only discussed this with co-workers!

Wow...Muchlove this is deep. I thought Jax had it bad! We had this problem at our job with a Male. It was so bad, we (8 people) brought in Lysol cans and sprayed everytime he got out of his seat. He still didn't get the message! Finally, after a co-worker vomited from the smell. The Managers went to HR. He was out for 3-day and came back smelling good. But he did lax off sometimes. For the most he kept himself clean.

the doctor & made an appointment, she never been 2 a GYN. She said the doctor say she had something with fungus growing on it inside of her that was causing the odor. Wow!! But she was so Grateful for my son grandma pulling her aside, she said she never really smell nothing. Maybe it been going on sooo long, she never notice. This is an HR issue and not one that a coworker needs to directly address with another coworker. I have worked with 2 females who STANK, not stink...STANK !! I always wonder why they can't smell themselves. Keep yo front door clean, or else nobody will come knockin.

I use to work with a female that had really bad body odor as well, but her reason was that she was raised in a very poor family and they only bathen once a week !! Now mind you we were working for the fire dept in Northern CA and once it got hot, you could smell her from miles away approaching ! I finally told her that she had a bad odor and she plainly stated, I only bath once a week and I can deal with it ! I told her ok, then don't be surprise when people walk away when you approach!

..I used to know this woman who lived next door to me.....who poached salmon..maybe 3-4*'s a day...and it smelled horrible..just horrible..I mean smelled like dead body..or dead fish..whatever..After a while..she started to smell of it..Her apt..always stank of it..I'd be out there spraying the hallways..I always wanted to say something..but couldn't..However when Xmas time came..;D
I bought her a big basket of bath supply from the BodyShop-[not cheap sh*t]..She was thrilled..You could try that.

I feel your pain. Once in a blue moon my downstairs apt. neighbor cooks up some fishy-garlic-dead -animal-smelling concoction. With her windows and fire-escape door open. Thank heavens it's only a few times a year! But I run to shut my windows at the first sniff, til that stench clears out, otherwise it seeps into my apt. WTF, and in the mornings on a weekend ... even more WTF.
