@clash352 No, he always used to go onstage drunk (pre-1978.) This was the reason Alice was nervous to perform sober, after rehab. He thought Alice was all part of the drunk act, of course he was wrong. Alice claims he never "drank alcohol" onstage, but I doubt that.

Cooper looked terrible, his continued drinking after rehab really took it's toll, he was so skinny and gaunt looking.

Mick Mashbir and Michael Bruce played most of the songs on Billion Dollar Babies, Glen played some solos (he was very ill during this time and wasn't very reliable when trying to record). I like to think it's about Alice himself. He went from being goody two shoes to doing obscene things onstage. When people read the things about Alice in the paper everyone had warped images of him ("I got no friends 'cause they read the papers"). Although, unlike in the song in reality his parents supported Alice. Also he even adds in the part about going to church, which ensures to me that it's about Alice. Also, the line "I helped the blind to see" is him making a Jesus reference.

The original group will never reform I am pretty positive about that. Alice is doing his own thing now and since Glen is dead it won't be the same with a different lead guitarist (although I could stand having one of their session guitarists). Mike Bruce really wants to rejoin with Alice but Alice doesn't want to. Dennis Dunaway is doing his own thing and Neal Smith is doing real estate business. Dennis and Neal jam every weekend, Alice is still performing, and god knows what Mike is doing.

Although I think most of the Wah joined in around 73 because of Mick Mashbir (session guitarist who toured as [undercover lead guitarist] during the Billion Dollar Babies tour and BDB Holiday Tour [aka the short Muscle of Love Tour]). No it's 2 guitars playing, no harmonizer or pitch changing. I think in Hallowed By My Name you're thinking of when the guitar jumps up to the high frets, they actually play that high. Glen Buxton loved to do short fills high up on the neck.

Yeah he cut out a lot. I think it's because the song may have just been a fill or a way of him fast forwarding through a hit to get to the new stuff. This tour he did A LOT of improv during the songs.

No it's not, this song was actually written in 1971 for the Killer album, but they thought they should save it for another album (Billion Dollar Babies of course). So it was way too early for Steven, who was created around 1974-75. The original ACG have no connection to Steven. But yes, cool idea.

He sounded much different cus he changed his style after rehab, a change in mind meant a change in style. That's when he started to go further with experimenting and tried almost every genre in music. Alice has done it all and has always been successful, that's why he's a living legend!

It's actually from "The Strange Case of Alice Cooper" which was only released on VHS sadly. You can buy it on Amazon or eBay. My version is from "Prime Cuts", which has different clips of live videos and music videos, along with interviews. I suggest getting both videos though!

No actually this is when he got back from Detox. Read about the tour because the story of this tour's album (From The Inside, 1979) is about his time in detox and the psychos there. Amazing album, truly genius.
