@davidcoco25 oom is the way to kick start your hum and beat. a real hum and beat involves the nose, instead of using your mouth to say oom =)

@MapleStoryKillz start with your hum really loud, and your lips softly flapping to "B". keeping the hum in place (humming is your top priority) slowly increase the strength of your lips WITHOUT breaking the hum. good luck =)

1)say "B"oom (B is your bass drum). that is a hum from the mouth, remember what it feels like. that is what you DON'T WANT to be doing.

2) now, shorten the "oo" sound, and make the mm sound longer. mm pushes the sound up to your nose, that's what you want.

try saying "ng", then use only the TIP of your tongue to flick.

Something very important, you dont need to close your lips (not necessary) you can just close the throath (like when you hold the food before swallowing) meanwhile you beat. Hope it helps

also, for "2 hums at a time", you just have to slow it down until you can get it easily.

in fact its not really 2 hums at one time, its just

(high) low low (high) low low low low

Do you get what i mean? hard to explain haha. just know that the hums aren't done at the same time.

@KerningMan hey! =) try not to use pf t keh t.. you need the bass there to make it sound nice. so it should be B t pf t =)

cricket sound, just roll your tongue and hum high. trick is to drop your jaw slightly =)

a cricket is a hum, tongue roll, and you can hear a slight background "wind" sound.

trick is to drop your jaw, go higher pitch, and blow a bit harder compared to telephone.
