  • Had the volume loud for the first few seconds, thinking it would fade in or something...oops xD Cool song!

  • classic

  • i'm sorry but this band is incredible

  • They're a 70's-esque band, that's why they're good. Because the definition of music in the 70's was way more refined back then.

  • yawn

  • When did dis song was released?

  • aahhhhhh yesssss ROCKL LIVES ON THROUGH EARL GREYHOUND

  • This is good.

  • wow

  • i like the song but i really dont know the meaning behind it. can anyone help me out?

  • Psychodellic rock NEVER DIES!

  • You "Likes" are high. There's a reason you got this song from Madden.

  • Madden 2008 got me here. This song ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

  • fuck yeah rock'n roll rules

  • I son was playing Madden 06 I think it was. Most of the time I take no notice but when I heard that Zeppllinesque cry I just knew I had to find out who it was. • This is the official comment asking the bass player to marry me. I would make a wonderful husband and can cook.

  • The dislike bar is the size of the disliker men's dick. This song is simply too good.

  • Just allowed to watch if you own long hair!

  • Burnout DOMINATOR!

  • Saw them at Waka last year. It was sooo hot out and only a handful of people showed up. It was well worth making the trek to the tent as these guys rocked it.

  • haha the drummer looks like mister t

great band anyway this band rock like shit

  • @tschachte Well I know it's Ricc in the video, but I'm not certain the audio was recorded specifically for this vid shoot. I know the recording of S.O.S. on the Soft Targets album is definitely C.B.

  • @TheLegendMA Oh yeah that's probably right then...never knew that

  • The drummer is Christopher Bear, of the 'Grizzly Bear' four-piece. He has an tremendous triplet feel, and knack for the groove.

  • @TheLegendMA it's actually Ricc Sheridan, but Christopher did drum for Earl Greyhound at one point. Ricc kills it on the drums as well.

  • c-can you feel this?!

    fucking Ama-zah-zing!

  • i clicked this link expecting to hate this, but these m*********ers blew my mind! fuck yeah, ROCK IS ALIVE!

  • @pngilman

Rock never dead! People just stopped looking!

  • Earl Greyhound plays Bowery Ballroom (NYC) on Sat Nov 20

w/ Cavalier Rose + Knights on Earth

    8pm / $15 / 18+

  • 6 people clearly have no idea how epic this song is.

  • Our answer is across the universe!

  • DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm glad i discovered this band!

  • great band, saw them in Hamburg, man, how good life is

  • great band, saw them in Hamburg, man, how good life is

  • never played madden by myself, but my roommate used to.

    i'd recognize this song anywhere!

  • zajebisty band,bklyn

  • This is one of my favorite songs ever. Totally underrated band.

  • Poland, Germany and on to Japan. EG rocks the globe!

<<< Click my user name to see clips from the Seattle show.

  • this song probably would've beena huge hit if it came out back when blues rock was more appreciated. This song is epic. Love the psychedelic groove it has

  • I LOVE THIS BAND!!!

  • I didn`t realise that mark farner, marsha hunt and buddy miles ever had a power trio together: what year was this? 1972?

  • @shotdonkey , YEAH RIGHT...... i thought the same when i saw this clip. Anyway, i'm going to their gig in Rotterdam ,Holland , in a couple of months.

  • @g74ui78ll88ermo

cool! I`ll make sure to see them in zürich, in two weeks! they`re the best rock band I`ve heard in a long time...

  • @shotdonkey : simply AWESOME! =0]

  • Heard this joint on Madden, too, some years ago. It's outside of the realm of what I normally listen to, but I'll tell you what -- this track is somethin' else. I love it! If it doesn't get you hyped, you must be wired wrong.

  • 136000 views? are you serious? they are so awesome

  • amazing song

  • the drummer is black bonham

  • now that's how you make music for real

  • see kids...lyrics don't have to rhyme , all you need to do is be creative and it wil all go together.

  • saw them open for chris cornell a few y ears ago ,never heard of them before that was instantly hooked

  • Yeah man! I got here accidentally and I thank god for it!! Who are this bitches? They fucking rock ...why aren't they famous?

  • This is good ol' american rock and roll a la Grand Funk Railroad. I saw them yesterday for the first time here in NYC at a free festival in Coney Island.

  • @vivelavidarocka fuck yeah

  • @vivelavidarocka FUCKYEAH SIRENFEST NYC

  • this shit is fucking dope

  • Great band these guys have real talent.

It's a shame lady Gaga is a big star and these guys are relatively unknown.

Americans have horrible taste in what is popular music.

  • i'm 16 now i realy hope as my generation becomes of age we start making good music again like this, gov't mule, and grace potter and the noctunals, ect maybe good music will be on the pop charts again for the first time since the late 60s early 70s well for now it's just a dream but there is allways hope. peace:) sebastian steele.

  • i loved this song since the first time i played madden 08 :D

  • Saw these cats live opening for Chris Cornell awhile back, they made an awesome night even better. Met the singer (who was standing in the back corner of the venue after CC's set finished and we were leaving) real quick and complimented their performance, I really want them to get big.

  • One of the best songs I have ever heard.

  • Saw them yesterday with OK Go -- they were awesome! The drummer's bass drum is 32''! Fucking huge! Just like elijah said...never heard of them but they are WAY better live! My god!

  • Saw them last night in LA with Ok Go. Had never heard of them and they fucking rocked like nothing I've heard before. I'm a huge fan now. If you like their recorded stuff they're 100x better live.

  • met the drummer Big Ric Sheridan about 3 years ago at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA when they were on tour to support this record. They played this small room that was just packed. i told Ric that I thought they would be HUGE stars. Unfortunately that hasnt happened yet. They are such a great band but may never make it above "the underground".....so to speak. They are on tour now so def check them out if you get a chance! SOS is such a badass tune!

  • I saw these guys at The Loft in Atlanta last night and they fucking rocked!

  • This is my new favorite band! They are so epic!

  • this song rocks

  • damn this song is nice

  • This song rocks pretty hard. Very few bands can resurrect that classic rock sound so successfully like this. I would swear to God if I heard this on the radio that I was listening to a song straight outta the 70's.

  • I met them after the OK Go concert in Milwaukee and they are soooo nice. I really could not believe how incredibly kind they were. It was freezing and Kamara was very concerned. They are awesome!

  • I saw them last night, when they opened for OK Go in Chicago. They were really good live!

  • one of the greatest songs ever!!! great trio

  • soo fucking great!!

know it from New World Disorder 10!!

    Robbie :D

  • They Are Just Awesome

  • Just saw these guys last night with Coheed and Cambria in Portland, Me., and got to meet the drummer, awesome live!

  • @clutch0423 just got home to Nova Scotia from driving down to see the same show, my mind was blown by both bands. Am definitely really digging these guys now.

  • @Rendell05 Been a fan of Coheed since their 2nd album and will never look back. Have you heard the new album yet? It's nasty-amazing!

  • I saw them at the coheed concert in Clifton park, Ny. They're sick

  • saw them open for coheed in VT, fucking nasty

i didn't get why people weren't into them, they were awesome

  • cocaine fucking music!

  • madden and nascar

  • i digg the 70's vibe.

    their music is great!

  • Sexiest band live

  • dude that drummer kicks ass. The shit he does blows my mind. He's like Keith Moon, Bonham and David Garibaldi mixed and turned black.

  • @poncho2211

Yeah that's not the drummer that plays on this song, though.

  • I just saw this band last night at Brooklyn Bowl. Awesome venue, go check it out if you're in New York. I also talked to them and they said the new album is due out in April. I can't wait.

  • Great song! "Talkin robotics to nobody!" (My fave part)

  • this song is also form burnout dominator! it's awesome!

  • found this song on madden 08

  • @TDrocks100 this is why i started to listen to the band

  • yep me too and i always wondere if that kids voice was a whole group of people or something and then i watched the vid and it was a kid and i said WTF

  • Insane... It's like the 70s reborn. Where have these guys been the past 4 decades?! (They should have been in my CD rack, where they're gonna go now.)

  • Go buy the album(or steal it), cause its good! Not really a bad song on the album.

  • Jus got turned on to these kids. Unreal. So great to hear some new, true, unadulterated rocknroll for a change. They're like a big ol frosty mug a cold beer in hell.

  • Dude this song is so amazing. It's a shame people only know it from Madden and stuff, not in any sort of elitist way, because I don't care where people hear music, it's just that when people associate a song with something like Madden I think people tend not to think of it as a "real" song and not one to listen to outside of the context of Playstation and tell friends about. But this song is unreal. If there was any justice in the world it would have dominated radio. It is all that is rock.

  • I didn't even know it was a tune from a video game - I think this was a genius find through one of my Black Keys tunes.

  • madden 08 yeah

  • This band is proof that A&R Reps have their heads stuck so far up their asses that they wouldn't know perfection like this if it was shoved up there for a showcase. By far the best rock band alive!!!!!

  • Fucking Awsome Song...It does kinda seem like zeppelin played a role in influence

  • POWER

  • I don't know if this was just me, but this definitly seemed like a mix between Hendrix and grunge to me

  • really? it completely reminds me of zepplin. from the style to the sound of the instruments.

  • your very correct, they did an interview on current tv they got a lot of their influence from zeppelin and other 70's rock

  • This song has haunted me for the past week. It's been stuck in my head and I can't get it out. I hear it all the time. Saw them live during the afro-punk tour and they blew my mind. I got Soft Targets the other day and I can't believe this band isn't bigger. The harmonies, riffs, bass lines, beats all combine together in a symphony of discord and passion. I am determined to get as many people into this band as I can.

  • the part from 3:20 is great

  • saw them in portland last night, the drummer is fucking awesome!

  • he looks like zakk wylde when he was young

  • no just the hair

  • earl greyhound is the real deal and if anybody think otherwise is fuckin dumb!

  • 5/5 this song is the shit

  • sexy song

  • I saw them in DC last night: off the chain and loud as he'll! Not to mention they were giving out business cards with codes on the back so you could download their free EP.

They deserve to be much bigger than they are.

  • Shit on me, I found out about them from a pod on Current TV. Damned if they don't have the Led Zep groove going on. Major Kick Ass!

  • This song rocks so hard -- how did it not get like really hugely popular?

  • @doyoulikesesame because good music is considered bad music these days...its unfortunate

  • I saw them open for Portugal. The Man. Brought the place down! Talked to them after the show, too. Cool folks.

The guitarist is seriously a million feet tall. The video does not impart that enough.

  • so i've been listening to this song for a while now, every time i play madden. I always liked it, but right now i just beat the crap out of the broncos and this song really struck a note with me (no pun intended). HEEEEEAAAAAVY tone!!!!!

  • this song is amazing. very Led Zeppelinish. too bad it isn't on iTunes.

  • Yes it is...Earl Greyhound - Soft Targets. I have it on mine.

  • I'm not too into this video, but they're FUCKING AMAZING!

  • Killin

  • they broke up after the lead singer struck that girl in the face...JK

  • cool. good stuff-i like the tune and the artistic approach.

rock on with your bad selves.

  • Cool Song...ive heard it in Burnout Dominator..

  • dito^^

  • how the hell did this not become a big hit?

  • @tbshs it was in madden soundtrack that year.

  • @tbshs its on madden 08

  • @tbshs If S.O.S. is worthy of being a big hit, then "Monkey" from the same album is worth being a world famous, memorable song.

  • @Politcalamity Agreed. My favourite by them.

  • Straight Up, Balls to the walls ROCK!

    LOVE THIS SONG!!

Show's you how stupid people are the fact this never became a HUGE hit.

  • MADDEN 08? Lots of people heard it. But I agree. Awesome song!

  • Oh my god....

  • OH YEAH!

  • AWESOME SoNG LuV I!!!

  • They were really good live. Their drummer was insane.

  • @clm1003 tell me about it. saw them last week in NY at the Coheed and Cambria show, and it was crazy good

  • amazing jams
