  • No stars for this. CPR is pointless in a moving ambulance. Get a return of circulation before moving the patient.

  • who does cpr these days... old fashioned..

  • he never established an airway

  • those straps are not very feasible....if you are working with other medics on a code in the back or a major trauma...those straps wouldnt do anything but impede progress...and if you were in a wreck..they wouldnt do much good anyway...look how much they strech out anyway...they arent gonna keep you from bouncing around

  • uh, how about intubating?? that way you dont have to screw with bvm and mask each ventilation cycle...

  • I'm not sure what the point would be in dropping a airway in a manican? or however you spell it.

  • maybe its a basic. cant intubate.

  • @djtrix003 Basics can intubate. At least in CA.

  • @desertbum8 In NC they can as well, but only with a BIAD. Tracheal intubation is reserved for EMT-I/99 and up only.

  • @desertbum8 we cant here :,(

  • im sorry...but i would never wear those straps.

  • Then enjoy your gruesome death. :S Come on man, please buckle up for your safety. Nobody wants to see you get killed.

  • i always wear my seatbelt when i can... but sometimes you can't treat the patient that way (it sucks but its the sad truth)

always wear your seatbelt, even on the engine and/or truck

  • @thebleedenator you should my dad does not but he will get out of the car faster and he was a cop

  • wtf
