starwars battlefront 2(not ES) was the first game i picked up for my psp and in total, ive probably sunk more than 95 to 100 hours in playing it. its definetly a good game.

chess is a game, there arent a limited ammount of moves, at the start of the game, you can move 12 pieces, 10 pawns and 2 knights, they can all be moved a total of 24 different ways. 2 for each piece, 1 or 2 spaces forward for the pawns and 2 (directional left or right) for the knights. combining the following spectrum of moves you have 216 possible combinations. this is by the second move. games often take more than 100 moves to finish.
Now bomberman, we all have different techniques. Dumbass

Especially when they aren't even much better on psp. They are usually just better looking.

Let's not forget they also added abilities, double battles, wifi, and more pokemon in each pokemon game. All drastically changing the gameplay.
Also, while brawl wasn't a massive change from melee, it still had a massive gameplay change due to new characters.
Nintendo doesn't always give us new games, but they do do it far more than sony. At least, currently. Sony has been releasing some nice new games lately, but they still rehash shit.
snes platformer mario was the combination of all the past mario games(from nes), and executed beautifully.
n64 mario brought mario into the 3d world.
Gamecube mario had FLUDD which added a whole new plethera of ways to fight, interact, and play the game.
And wii mario... lulz. Well, hard to speak for that one. As it had soooo many weird, new, and interesting missions, bosses... I really liked the gravity gimmick too.

PSP is decent, but Nintendo doesnt sell out.
The only new thing on the DSi is the WiFi and Music player. (aac4, doesnt accept MP3s).
The cameras are 3 times better than the gameboy classic game version. Its merely the old gameboy game shoved inside the DS.
The internet browser was already available for DS.
I prefer the DS, but I actually came here to see if i could answer my question...
Bomberman DS, or Bomberman PSP.

there ARE a LIMITED number of moves and once you make a wrong move, its very hard to correct your mistake.

i can understand playing chess over a game that looks like chrono trigger but when it comes to monster hunter, resistance retribution, god of war ect, you dont have time to clown around moving peices on a board.

and i dont play games on how much skill they require because when it comes to MP there is no certain level of "skill" and in single player, skill levels can be adjusted.

other old games are good because they werent designed to be a means of transportation, they were designed to be origional and fun. however, new games, are just repeats and remakes, it gets boring after a while, unless its a really good multiplayer system.

mario and pokemon games polish up a bit on the graphics and alter the story and thats it.
anyways check out the lineups for each system, im sure you know which is better. (keep in mind the multiplatforms are way better on PSP 99% of the time)

that not true, the physics and fluency of movement in all the newer mario games change, except Smash Bros Brawl, that just failed.

Call of Duty, Other War Game, Another War Game, Another One, Another one.
Theyre all the same really.
Mario Party, Mario Kart, Smash bros, Luigi Mansion, Mario Tennis, even Mario Baseball, Mario Golf.
So we have either, shooting, shooting, shooting, and shooting.
Or sports, platforming, racing, etc etc. And Pokemon is a series, i could say the same about Metal Gear Solid. Same Game

1. the "xbots" your referring to rumoured at a new metal gear because their was a leak that one was coming out for 360, AND IF YOU FOLLOWED E3 this year you would know that said rumours are true.
2.mario galaxy( while not my favourite game) is one of the most highly rated games on the metascore rating system online( thats the giant rating number taken from every online critic source and jamming them together).

lulz, yeah, psp has better multi-plats, but when the majority of the library between both consoles are the exclusives of both, and when most of said multiplats are also on home consoles, and even better there, who cares? Especially when they aren't even much better on psp. They are usually just better looking.
The exclusives are why people buy consoles. Not multi-plats, and don't try to fool people into thinking otherwise. It's just dumb.

Let's not forget they also added abilities, double battles, wifi, and more pokemon in each pokemon game. All drastically changing the gameplay.
Also, while brawl wasn't a massive change from melee, it still had a massive gameplay change due to new characters.
Nintendo doesn't always give us new games, but they do do it far more than sony. At least, currently. Sony has been releasing some nice new games lately, but they still rehash shit.

For one thing, each new pokemon expansion brought something new which brought a whole new level of strategy to the game.
G/S/C brought items.
R/B/E brought skills, and natures.
P/D/P brought wifi.
As well as all these bringing new pokemon, and a few various other things as well.
And it's hard to speak for mario since he does just so many different things. But as for the platformer mario...

snes platformer mario was the combination of all the past mario games(from nes), and executed beautifully.
n64 mario brought mario into the 3d world.
Gamecube mario had FLUDD which added a whole new plethera of ways to fight, interact, and play the game.
And wii mario... lulz. Well, hard to speak for that one. As it had soooo many weird, new, and interesting missions, bosses... I really liked the gravity gimmick too.

Most just have a different story. So what about physics? Improving physics/graphics/etc isn't anything new, it's been done before.
You can't really blame them though, they're FPS games. They don't have much leeway to do much else and still be an FPS.
People like them that way, and it's fine. But don't bitch about other games not changing much when FPS like killzone, MAG, etc don't change anything either. They just improve.

the remakes increase gameplay by large amounts, normally over double the gameplay that was given to you the first time.
in addition to this, remakes also have better graphics, physics, sound effects ect ect.....
due to all this obvisouly remakes are more fun to play......thats meant to be a no brainer, i cant believe im explaining this.

btw,your "superior" CoD game on psp also explains my point. CoD on psp may have had ok sound and graphics,but the gameplay was HORRENDOUS and thus it was universuly panned by reviewers, unlike the ds games ,that may have been slightly lower on the graphical department,but wholly made up for it in an amazing control sceme and great gameplay. FPS' are horrible on psp!
infact,the CoD for psp(which got 6.6) got only .4 more in its score than Fantasy All-Stars, and .2 LESS than mario 3 on 3 hoops.

lol gameplay wasnt horrendous.....it had more stuff to do and was filled with action unlike the one on DS.
DS uses shit textures, flat surfaces, short viewing distances and some of the crappest gun effects ive seen in my life.
this definatly doesnt make it have good gameplay.....cus the game feels like shit.
and so much for the second screen......all it is, is a gigantic map......oh wow nice use of all that space.....
this is why i say widescreen is better.....

1st- graphics DONT make the game, look at sonic 06 for example, its graphics were FAR ahead of the genesis, but its gameplay was FAR FAR FAR below it, and thus the game was rubbish.
