Russia has a nice army. Though China worries me a little. LOTS of soldiers, but no conflicts in a long time. I think Russia would team up with America to handle it though.

@NJboot88 I thick it is around 3 years old may be up to 5 years I got it from a site thats now gone and i think it had been there a year when I got it and that was 2 years ago but russians tend to stick to tradistion so most things with a military style to things are done just the same as they where so I say today things will still be the same more so in the poorer parts of russia

12 year olds in with loaded AK's in BTU's. Scary part is this doesn't surprise me. We teach our youth at 18. And they become the Army Rangers. The Russians begin at age 10 and they become Spetsnaz. I don't know much about the Spetsnaz but what I do know that is they are a force not to be messed with.

These Russian children are the product of a system of defiant retaliation that is propagated among the Eastern European powers to this day. They had the full capability of being randomly exonerated for their youthful indiscreations. It seems improbable that anyone could incucapate the necessary ramifications of this power structure. These kind schools widely promoted or imposed in Russia. If to be honest in Russia to be humane, man, morally sound and patriot means first of all to be collectivist, homophobe... even slightest traces of romantic friendship or civilised behavior met with suspicion. From childhod they are urged to be hard, although i would not consider Russian people too hard, moreover one Russian philosopher (Berdayev or Solovyov) written that Russian nation somehow feminine. Ah ok, I only ask because the kid was shining a belt buckle with a Hammer and Sickle on it, and Russia is supposedly not a Communtist country any longer (and I stress SUPPOSEDLY) so it seemed weird to me that there would be recent footage of a government supported, youth military camp would have them trained and uniformed in Communist uniforms and ideology still. The footage doesn't look pre-wall fall but I wanted to make sure before i said anything

@NJboot88 Think of what you say I tend to think like you I think in russia a lot of the old ways still live on and indeed I think still get pssed down to youngters Iam not sure weather the buckle was his own or part of the unifform given as iam not sure to the films history of if it was from a home movie made for fun or as a keep sake as I say the clip came from a web page that is no longer running Iam sorry Iam not able to be more helpful but may be some one may post giving us more light I

@NJboot88 I like you think this is from after the war so the buckle could be a handed down keep sake things like the buckle are treasured by kids more so in the poorer places and russia has a lot of them but it will be interesting to learn more so I hope some that knows more about the clip and any history of it will post and let us all know

@knightedmarkie But how often are things handed down by the military from a former regime? Usually in programs like that, they'd have them dressed in current uniforms much like our American ROTC

Hitler even used the symbol, the US too.
The Hammer and Sickle symbol is a symbol for unity for the workers and farmers.

@NJboot88 I thick it is around 3 years old may be up to 5 years I got it from a site thats now gone and i think it had been there a year when I got it and that was 2 years ago but russians tend to stick to tradistion so most things with a military style to things are done just the same as they where so I say today things will still be the same more so in the poorer parts of russia
