  • deadlifts illicit a high anabolic response too. and bench press (and it's variations) is the classic chest/shoulder/triceps exercise. i would add pull-ups to the other 3 exercises, and these 4 movements are all you would ever need to stay in shape if you were limited to the amount of exercises you could do. i'm not going to get in depth with it here, but Godblesseveryone4 isn't entirely wrong. sure isolation exercises give great detail to specific regions, but for overall balance, compounds ftw

    365 for 2-3 reps on squat, 425 for 3-5 reps on sumo deads and 320 for an easy single on bench press. Bench was just touch and go though. While they weren't performed in the same period or even year, I think I was under 180 for all of these. I was just discussing with another trainer that personally it's no longer even in my best interest to do max singles. In fact, if I could illicit hypertrophy with less loads, I would.

  • Yo Insane Kane, do you still do this work out? ( Chest / Bicep ) ( Legs)  (Back Tricep Shoulders ) . each of them twice a week? . And do you recommend doing quads one day and hamstrings on another? Thanks alot man

    Actually the last 6 weeks I've just been doing an upper/ lower split. I would do legs one day then upper body the following day. I hit everything three times per week except for arms which I would throw in once or twice per week.

  • @Godblesseveryone4 right because they clearly give the biceps, lats, hamstrings, rhomboids, and posterior and side deltoids a full range of motion under tension which is required for growth. you're right though, bodybuilders only do those 3 exercises clearly. you must watch a lot of bodybuilding videos.

  • @Godblesseveryone4 yeah cause bicep curls are known to cause a large gut. its getting more and more apparent that you don't know much about bodybuilding.

  • @timgoat556 to be honest, he has kind of a point. if there was only one exercise (and it's variations) that you could do for the rest of your life to stay in relatively good shape, it would be the squat. i forget where i read it, but it's kind of true, whether you want to believe it or not. compound exercises, specifically the squat, illicit the highest surge in anabolic hormone response. when you do squats, you aren't just working your lower body; and with overhead squats, it's even more.

  • @timbahwolf hey kane. this is exactly what i searched for. tbh i only do sumo deadlifts because im not flexibel enough for the traditional deadlift lol. when would you do this stretching routine? right before deadlifting/squatting or on regeneration day?

  • these may look lame to regular gym goers but these are really good for hips and inner thigh flexibility.I just recently started doing them and i have noticed that i can squat easier.Keep the videos coming.
