Kevin Munroe has a little flaw in what he said about Leonardo and Raphael coming to blows for the first time in the fanrchise. I remember a point in the comic books where they fought, and Raph beat Leo (granted, he beat him in this movie too, so that may say something). I don't know, I guess they just wouldn't consider that an actual fight in the series, and that's the only other time I remember something like that happening.

I actually think if they did live action with CGI turtles would have been good, like ok this movie looks good but look at all the humans they look wierd like their cartoons or something, like they could have made them so more real but didnt??

Well.. there's always the idea of a live action film with CGI turtles. Like with Gollum and the live action stars in LOTR. I dunno... just my train of thought.

Personally I watched the live action and it wasn't nearly as kickass as the CGI. Plus the music. It rather sucked. But I believe the CGI comes after 1 or 2. I wanna say 1 cause 2 was just kind of a stretch and should just be disregarded.  3 DEFINITELY should not by recognised

The sequel needs to be PG-13 and be a LOT darker than this one. Precedent was set in the Harry Potter series, the movies got progressively better when it went away from the "family friendly" and became more of a darker, sinister, more real feeling movie franchise. I can see this being a 3-4 movie series, and it needs to be even darker than this movie.

The older TMNT Movies with the exception of the third one,are the shyit!The reason why the older ones are better are because of th easpect of making the turtles realistic, and belivable as if you could walk out to any man hole cover and look down one and find a ninja turtle!

i don't see how the originals could be better than the new CGI one. I loved the previous movies, but there was always something missing in those films where they could move around and not look awkward. I really enjoyed the emotions these turtles showed in facial expressions. The other movies could only rely on voices to convey their emotions...overall, i was REALLY impressed with this movie and the way it was all created!

film wasn't that good. Fight scenes were definitely nowhere near as good as in the original movies. APART from the two best scenes in the film which luckily are back to back.

I kinda agree, it was a "good" movie, not as good as the original and not as dark. And the Turtles don't say damn or hell anymore. Raphael said Bitchin in the original!

I saw it on Friday night, and I've got to say, the turtles looked SOO much better in CG than they ever did as costumes in the first 3... Turtles the way they were meant to move.

If you thought about what you were saying, I'm sure you'd want to take it back. Did you SEE the footage? There are so many things you can do with CG that you can't do with guys in suits. Mikey's subway skateboarding is a prime example of that.

For years Mirage tried to get a studio to do another Live Action Film. (They even had John Woo attached to direct). In the end they decided that if no studio would do a live action movie they'd go cgi. To be honest in terms of what they can do it's worked out great.

@GlamrusIndeRocknRoll I find that the best April O'Neils have the fewest likes by fans in their Facebook pages. For example, Sarah Michelle Gellar has 32,534 likes for her Facebook page, but Paige Turco has only 139 likes, Judith Hoag has only 73 likes, and let's not forget Renae Jacobs, who voiced probably the April we best associate with in the original series (Yellow jumpsuit, reporter, Channel 6) has only 13 likes! Rebecca Soler voiced the "classic April" in Turtles Forever has only 8 likes!
