:Lp I remember this game, i played the shareware(or was it a demo) back then, i remember being attacked by a weird scary guy with buffoon hat and scissor hands, i was like wtf, uninstalld the game and never heard again from it until today.

This guys have reversed fingers texture - either that or he's got 4 thumbs. I always found it funny ;]

Chasm was unexpecting nice game, where you were able to shoot off enemys' parts. I liked this game very much. The levels were cool designed. Bosses - the best part of the game.

So, no doubt that was the best 3D-Action game of that time, much interested than Quake 1 and much nicer even that Duke Nukem. Unfortunately (as I remember) It did not have multiplayer mode.

dfouble barreled has nothing to do with power of the gun it only lets you shoot 2 bullets after eachother then to have roload every 1 shot then a normal shotgun and ofcourse its stronger

Yes double barreld pump action shotgun ala Turok 2 and some other games. XD

I was talking about that Quake 2 Chaingun-esqe gun. I could tell the other was a shotgun. A seriously badass shotgun. Turok 2-3 had it, and so Did Quake 2. There is a Dual barreled pump-action shotgun. I forget what it's named though. It pumps forwards rather than towards the user.

I used to love this game soo much. I buy also an original on ebay :) It's nice. Not much to think about, but as an true action game it's superb. ..where is that CD?? I must find it. When i am looking at this video I want to play it badly :)

You know what? I had this crazy idea. Creating a mod of Doom with this old game. I mean, they say that there's a Level Editor for this, and it should be possible to edit the game itself.

Poor level design? Who said that the level design in this game was poor? What other game from that time do you remember when you have military machines, computers, and all kinds of other stuff in the levels etc

The only bad thing about that game were flat levels. Other things like animation, monsters, atmosphere(those sounds) were great.

well I need some help. when I play Chasm regularly and I start a new game it gives me a error and says the NTBDDM something hada problem and shuts it down, everytime it gets to that person speaking, also how come ur Dosbox works and mine is laggy?

How did you run this game? i have it but i need to use dosbox to play it because without it the screen is black. Did you use dosbox too?

I used vMDsound, what sucks is that Dos box can record videos on it (I think) but I use VMDSound cause Dosbox lags badly.
