I used to be involved with The Church of Scientology. I believe the members really do believe they're doing the right thing & think they're helping. Most religions are brainwashing, but Scientology does rely more on money. When I joined I was walked to the cash point to pay for a course & books. The 1st course I did actually helped & was excellent. The 2nd course however I didn't agree with, plus I hated the way they repeatedly wanted money & how they tried to brainwash. I walked out eventually.
