@maverrpl More texture are on Direct X 11 than DX 10. In general, graphics on DX 11 are more better than DX 10. If your a PC gamer, I recommend u upgrade to Windows 7 because it will run better than Vista.
@maverrpl Trust me man. If you have a gaming rig, its recommended that you get Windows 7. Because Windows 7 is faster than Vista. Alot of people are using Windows 7 for their gaming PC.
I noticed a decent bump in FPS when I switched to windows 7, I think my PC got a better score on the experience index too. They said with windows 7 they wanted to make it more efficient, a lot of stuff is optimized for Windows 7 these days I think. No guarantees though.
I am unsure why so many people are using those pesky Phenom II x3s verses the x4s, for such an easy upgrade I can't understand why anyone would stick with the X3.
what's pesky about x3's? they're much cheaper than the x4's and provide nearly the same performance in many areas, the x3 even matches or surpasses the x4 in some cases. it also uses less power, is easier to cool (especially when overclocked).
@demonhuter2008 Its been a while since I've played but somewhere upwards of near 80fps, since I recall running it at vsnc on a 85hz monitor. you may get down into the 40's on very intensive parts. if you don't care about AA or vsync, you can get quite a bit more FPS out of it.
DiamondBjoker, i'm not sure about if you would need to upgrade your psu, but maybe you would need to upgrade your processor in order to get Dirt2 at this detail without lag. Go to systemrequirementslab (type it in google) and choose dirt2 from the drop down box, and it'll tell you how each of your current parts will run on this game (except the psu)
Hey can someone help me, i currentl have an AMD Athlon x2 cpu, 4gb ddr2 ram, geforce 8400gs, thermaltake rx tr2 450w psu. Would i be able to upgrade to say the 5770 without having to replace my psu and would i be able to play dirt2 at this level of detail, as a comparison. Cheers :)

Should be. I read an article where this guy has only 350 watt PSU and the 5770 is working fine.
I have overlocked my ATI XFX 5770 and have got 16231 on 3dMark Vantage, 3000 more then my old GTX 280, yes you heard me i gave up my GTX 280 for ati 5770 :D
depends on your needs and price limit. the 5770 is always a better option over the 5750. only when they start selling the 5750 for the suggested retail price of $109 will it be worth it to those on a budget. the 5750 is generally 25% slower than a 5770.
add these together and you get 28% more processing power over all. even if they had the same amount of stream processors, the core clock alone would make it 18% faster.
that doesn't even include a slightly better ram bandwidth and more texture units.

@peoplez129 i know the figures, but the figures don't count for anything. i'm talking about on average, in game. the only thing that the 5750 loses out by around 25% is 3D Mark Vantage, and that's not even a game.
we're not comparing 2 different architectures like ATI or Nvidia. we're comparing the same exact architecture. the GPU's in the 5770 and 5750 are the EXACT same GPU except with some parts of the chip purposely crippled in the 5750. your logic is completely irrational.
keep in mind that if you aren't seeing any or much of frame rate increase between the two cards, it's probably your CPU or the lack of multithreading support that keeps your frame rate from rising.
@peoplez129 my LOGIC is what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING, you can quote all the figures you like, it doesn't matter, IN-GAME (the things that people buy graphics cards for) your statistics mean nothing. there is nothing to argue with here, that's the way it is.
@naryanr What the fuck? Why can't you buy the 5750 and shut the fuck up? 5770>5750 anytime, period. I can't stand people whining over something so simple
@cashoplz and i can't stand you thinking you can tell me what to do, so why don't you just fuck off back where you came from and mind your own business you royal asshole.
@naryanr you two need to come down, i think cashoplz is right. maybe if you go whining somewhere else then you won't have people telling you to shut up. grow up.
I think you're getting ahead of yourself. 1:03 to 1:10, the sand clouds aren't coming from the water, but instead from the 2 back tires and then the front right tire.
@ 1:54 the water tessellation could use some tweaking to make the waves smaller, but that's up to the developers in how they implement it. I think it has more to do with the depth of the water, since the entire body of water interacts and not just the surface.
he can anybody on youtube can help me could i run this game. Here are my specs
Video Card: XFX ATI Radeon 5770 1gb
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
RAM: 4gb DDR2 800
PSU: 650w
