@jtallen12345 The mandolin looks like a Gibson F-9. These are wonderful mandolins carved out and made on the same production line as the very expensive F-5 models that cost 5 to 7 times as much. They just have less inlay and binding -- very good deal for an insturment.

Bach and Beethoven wrote songs for the Mandy before there was a guitar. Steve is playing an old Gibson and has a mic mounted on it. Mandys with their own pickups, plugged in to an amp record better; but this must have been great live
