I would love to see Renee come back to oltl too but it had to do with a contract dispute. Maybe if she's still interested they will eventually work one out but she may be more interested in her music, broadway and/or movies/television and of course her new son...a soap opera might be more hours than she is willing to work right now...who knows?

Nat. looked like a stray caught out in the rain as she watched John watch Van! It was not lost on her that Evangeline only had eyes for John and he only had eyes Van! Accessing his emotions was pretty easy stuff when ME was playing a scene opposite REG! Tears would have been a walk in the park! <]8D

I think you might be right on that one. I heard Renee say in an interview that she actually cried herself when she viewed the scene to enter it for the emmy nomination. They both loved working together and they wanted to see their characters make a real commitment to each other. I think it was a tragedy, but that's TV - you have to keep things interesting. But what a wonderful statement of progress if they had let the characters and the actors follow their true heart. Maybe one day.
