  • Your tribute to Navy Corpsman who gave their lives so that their Marine buddies could live to fight another day moved me greatly. As a retired devildoc who served in Vietnam as a company corpsman with the 3-2 Recon, everyday, and too many nights, I remember the men that I saved and the ones that I couldn't. Semper fi from HMCS Jordan. Marines and their corpsman never die; they go to Hell to regroup.

  • I ship 20111102 and im proud to be able to call my self a HM.

  • good vid I am a former HM2 and I loved my job but hated the politics in the military or I would have stayed on. as for Corpsman not being legit targets well that is a joke cause the enemy would love to target the doc's or officers to hurt morale. as for me I was a gun fighter until someone needed me.

  • Great tribute Doc, the legend of our fellow fallen HMs will live on forever in the United States Hospital Corps as long as the Corps exist, they still exist

    HN Ng

  • Nice tribute, doc. These men and women were guardians of freedom's guardians on earth, and carry on these duties from above. Don't weep for them, they are in His Corps now and should be honored as such. DEEP RESPECT ~ OORAH!

    HM2 Adams / RockDoc

  • HM3 Medez and I were at NHCS together. I had to have surgury and he volunteered for my orders. Never thought when he left that day, it would have been the last. I'd trade places with him in a second. We will all have that big NHCS party in the sky once again. They are just getting warmed up before us. God Bless my brothers. Thank you for everything. Corpsman Up!

  • Most of these are Army

  • @Minkosis Army, Navy, USMC, USAF...same country, same reason, buddy. It doesn't matter what service branch you serve in when you're deployed, down range, or in the field. (The only time it really matters is on an NCAA Football Field...)

  • Looking at those names on the wall at NSHS SD every morning at muster made you wonder...'Rest easy comrades, know the line has held..others now stand where ye fell...Rest easy, rest well..sleep,sleep..Peace'

  • RIP MY FELLOW CORPSMAN!!!!! YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN!!! HOORAH! HM3 Pike

  • Fallen never forgotten. Thank you brothers for your sacrafices. Thank you to the Devil Docs and Devil Dogs carrying on the watch. We sleep in peace tonight b/c of you.

Makes me miss the Hospital Corps and my Marines.

    Former HM3(FMF) Edkins

  • Every day the fire burns to be stationed with the Green side once more. I currently serve on a Submarine but was stationed with 3/3 and also at Pendleton. My fellow DevilDoc's, YOU are alwasy in my heart!!!!

    Doc Edwards

  • This is what I am training for. Would be honored to do this duty.

  • Corpsmen are a very different breed. Self-sacrifice over self-preservation. Indeed, a Doc with the wings of an angel will go through the very gates to save the life of Marine. It is very comforting that in today's society, there are still men and women who answer this calling. Not a lot of people understand this. To most it's insane. God Bless you all, our fallen brothers. We will never forget and we won't let others forget!

  • @squidster5 You are very welcome! Thank you for thinking of my fallen Brothers and Sisters! There is not one day when I do not remember them. Thank you so much for you words, they bring me relief, and support! God bless our USMC and USN HMS!

  • I miss the Hospital corp every day since I got out. R.I.P. To all the fallen corpman.

Former HM3 (FMF) Grayswilliams 3rd BN 2nd Mar.

  • I feel that every Doc that dies in battle trying to save a life, should recieve the Medal of Honor!

  • To my many fallen brother's, Thank you very much for making that sacrifice. I loved being a Corpsman so much. I miss it. I miss my Marines so much. Everytime I hear that we lost another Corpsman, I get emotional. I feel like I've lost another brother. Rest in Peace to my fellow Corpsman and Marines. Thank you for everything you have done.

    Former HM3 Torres.

  • They will never be forgotten. As long as live God bless .

  • corpsman up!!!!!!!!

  • I posted a comment on NAVY CORPSMAN TRIBUTE. This one also brought tears to my eyes. Civilians just do not get it, yes we are the snipers favorite target but we know that and will still break the gates of hell to get to a fallen grunt. Get between a Doc and his Marine and I can only say death is near....yours.

  • What Doc says is very true. The old saying "Where Angels and marines fear to tread you'll find a corpsman dead" Doesn't mean we die for no reason. We Will die for every one of our Marines. It's in our Blood, Our Heritage as Corpsmen. "Corpsman Up!" The call that triggers that switch in our head that we need to get someone, And save him or her, No matter the Consequence. Hoorah My fallen Brothers. We will keep those you died for safe.

  • may the fallen corpsman never be forgotten.. For you lay close to my heart and guide me to be a good corpsman. Rest In Peace..

Brian Findley, HA. USN First Mar Div.

  • They will never ever be forgotten. I will always keep them close to my heart. Rest In Peace. Thank you.

    Jayvee Mateo, HMC(SW/AW/FMF), USN, Ret

  • "With brandy and cigar in hand, I salute you all for through this day and all the following nights and days ahead, God bless you, God Bless this great nation and God bless the Corps."

  • I ship August 6th for RTC, I'm going to be a corpsman myself. I'm absolutely stoked! I can't wait.

  • hope you will read this someday.

WHERE ANGELS AND MARINES FEAR TO TREAD, THERE YOU WILL FIND A CORPSMAN DEAD. Corpsman Up!

  • Corpsman are one of a snipers top three targets...

  • Under the laws of land warfare, medical troops are not legitimate targets.... I guess someone forgot to tell Johnny Jihad...Smelly cocksuckers.

  • CORPSMAN - Usually a young, long haired, bearded, Marine-hatin' Sailor with certain medical skills, who will go through the very gates of Hell to get to a wounded Marine.

hoorah Marines we will always be there for you !

  • If you can add Doc Noble I would appreciate that. Thank you for the video HM2

  • This former Army and USAF medic hopes that these men have found peace in their afterlives. We all deserve it. May you all rest in peace.

  • at 2:37 that was the memorial for lance corporal Arron cole Austin who died April 26,2004 in the first battle of fallujah. Rest in peace brother semper fi.
