When talking about features, Halo wins. It has more multiplayer games, highest skill ranks, forge, more weapons, and vehicles. Gears of war has more exciting campaigns, gore, and manuevers. Halo has more replay value but I enjoy Gears of War more. For gears three, they need to add mapmaker and/or forge, a few levels with vehicles, and change the shotgun and movements back to Gears 1. With those improvements Gears of war would be a better game.

i think halo 1 beats all hands down, the campaign was epic with many surprises like the flood whcih came out of nowhere, music was also epic and fit well with the game. It paved way for all the other first person shooter after it. Graphics were damn good for the time too. But they started loosing their touch afterwards and mainly focused on online play instead of campaign and graphics.

Some of the comments on this video are retarded. I havent got a problem with whatever game you like more, but to say that halo-gears players are stupid just because their opinion is different is idiotic. Just accept that different people like different things.

Personally, i like halo best. I like the ability to create your own gametypes, maps and videos and ive always found moving around in a 3rd person shooter awkward at times. And in halo, theres a really nice sound when you tbag somebody

Gears of war RAPES Halo. Both Campaign and MP. I played Halo3 for a week and got soooo bored of it, Gears is just better in EVERY way. People who hate on Gears are just too shitty to play it well, they're not used to AI that fights back or having to use a little brainpower to win a fight :P

I actually think, that people who play gears are more for the gore. Is there really a difference in AI's? They seem to simply run at you in gears, and have weapons that do more damage than in Halo.

And as for brainpower, the only tactic in gears is to duck and shoot - you have to think about vehicles, weapons, equipment, other players - not to mention if your playing CTF or king of the hill >.>
