The title of this video is VERY misleading. The Beatles performed their classic "Hey Jude" on the DAVID FROST SHOW as a live performance......NOT on the Smothers Bros. Show. The Smothers Bros show must have then shown a film of the Beatles appearing on that show....
You are correct, and I've changed it! I remember it from the US debut on the SmoBros - didn't even know until YouTube that it was actually from David Frost. It appears they both performed live and with studio tracks behind them. Hard to tell if John and George are singing live harmonies, though Paul and Ringo are clearly playing
