@lainnorcal the bottom line is money i was getting three times as much as it was werth and i already had a far better car 350z and it gave my son a helping hand to get a new car if it was not for theses factors i would not of scraped it but at the end of the day they are only lumps of metal im already looking at swopping my 350z for the Nissan GT-R and if i get more money for scrapping the 350z i will just like the mx6 great car but there are alway better one's out there
@thenewrapcrew Depends on the KLZE you have. The KLZE with the straight neck intake manifold is 198 hp. The KLZE with the curved neck manifold is about 170 hp. However, even with the KLZE straight neck you won't make max power immediately. You will need the J-Spec ECU and VAF or just chip your stock A-spec ECU which I will do eventually to my MX-6 with the KLZE straight neck. However, the KLZE straight neck using the A spec ECU will produce about 180 hp I think. KLZE > KLDE any day.
@Trillisticninja yep if you say so all car that come of the prduction line are the same and as you say yours is stock how is it faster than a normal stock mx6 they are all the same eather 2.0cc or a 2.5cc. unless yours has been moded then its not stock in any case no matter what you say a stock mx6 will not beat a stock 350z i should no iv owned both car as iv said before sorry
just an fyi the mx6 wasn't meant for the quarter mile, a 350's turbo doesnt spool up until higher end rpm's, plus it's not how the car drives, its usually the driver. I bet i'd own you, and if you wanna prove it, i dont mind taking a road trip.

Add a turbo and boost it to 15 pounds, id smoke any 350Z(stock mind you) USA 350Z's are NOT rare at all.. it took me four years to get into one... THAT and im having a hard time getting the title because it was a abandoned vehicle...... and 2K for those rims? @1997FordProbeGT well over here in england there an old car and only value is scrap you see them all the time where as 350z are very rare also due to the very high cost of motoring over here there not werth anything. also there not that fast most normal car perform at the same level as the mx6 it did look good and the wheels where a round £1000 so not that cheep in your money about $2000. and as i don't live in the usa i could not sell the car over there

That "cash for clunkers" program was incredibly wasteful and it's a shame that they even offered it. It makes no sense to destroy perfectly good cars, especially a Mazda MX-6 like this one that had nothing wrong with it. I had a 93 MX-6 LS and I would have paid good money for this car. What a shame...

My 93' mx6 hydrolocked in a bad hurricane we got in 06', I bought a new engine off ebay the KLZE model engine, i never gave up on that car and it will never give up on me. Runs like a dream and fast as shit and sounds beautiful. Its a shame you got rid of such an amazing and rare car.

@PhilNOS501 ok iv had a look at the 300zx stats and yes its fast it has twin turbos which the 350z does not infact it has no turbos at all and yet it matches the 300zx with top speed in most standard setup mine being (158mph) also the 0-60 times the 300zx is slower in some of the standard setup rangeing from 4.5sec to 5.9 my 350z does it in 5.6sec and all this with out the use of twin turbos i get up to 35mpg on a good day which as far as i can see beats the 300zx and the 300zx is an old car
