Just like Cowboy Bebop and other great anime's that only have 23 or so eps, You get so into it and addicted that when it's over ur like " well now what ". Im gonna have to buy the DVD This was one hell of a mindfuck , The relationships in it were very interesting, I liked how they ended it, You know the mains are together but u don't get that all lovey dover happy ending. I hate those kinds of endings.

The story was unorthodox and the episodes were terribly drawn out. Literally reminded me of watching some sort of show milking out as much time as possible between events. Most of the show is staring and wondering when anything exciting will happen. I cant say I would recommend this show to anyone. Though the soundtrack was decent. So 1/10 I would say.

The inner sight and deep meanings lying under the surface of this anime are not things that can be explained with one or two words. If you are looking for excitement, go watch something else but please don't underestimate the immensity of this show by giving only 1 out of 10. That is being highly unfair...

@lindelmelian It takes more then a few words to explain why their was an entire episode whilst broken down in the middle of nowhere and re-looping the same instances for nigh shy of 30 minutes? I think "wasted time" about settles that one. Was the episode where Pino saves the fun park even needed? 90% of the show could be cut and the philosophical fiction factor remains entirely in tact... Blues Clues is more appealing and thrilling then most of this. Again, 1/10

@loopykay13 I who'd very much recommend this anime, it has a great atmosphere and interesting characters. The action sequences is not half bad either, but do note that they can be a little far between for some. If you can appreciate the setting and don't mind that the pace isn't tailored around constantly fueling adrenaline to the masses, definitely give this a watch.

ah, and the blue stuff around Re-l Mayer's eyes is in the anime just make-up. =)

The ships in the sky were the humans, they had left earth long ago when the enviroment collapsed. The humans that were on earth was pseudo-humans created by the proxies. In the end, the enviroment is starting and is able to regenerate, so the humans shall return and populate once again. And what do you mean no real ending? This is a psychological anime, the whole series was an experience out of the ordinary.

Finished watching the anime yesterday night, absolutely one of my favorite anime. Though I feel kinda sad once I watch a whole anime =) Because everything ends. Well well, that's reality.
