Coupling withdrawal from Iraq with energy independence is good. Dodd also correctly emphasizes that the Bush administration should be prevented from embroiling us in a similar misadventure in Iran. My question is what legislation is he pushing to accomplish that objective. I could support Sen. Dodd's candidacy if he became a viable option.

I like that he sees the connections between national security and our dependence on foreign oil. I mean, a lot of people see it, but he's running for president and TALKING about it. This is the man I want to see as our next president. He understands that the war in Iraq is more than just an isolated war. This war is tied to America's failure at diplomacy, our capitalistic dependence on oil, our failure to see American's as part of a global community. I have never paid any attention to this candidate, but Chris Dodd is now my choice for president.

Chris Dodd is a truely amazing candidate. It makes me sad that he has so far been unable to get the attention that he deserves in this race.
