Hear that tape drop weirdness around 3:54? That's on my CD copy as well. I really wish WB would remaster Franks' catalog, the recordings need to be preserved and presented as best they can. Of course there's a real possibility that the original master tapes are damaged, which would be unfortunate.

Why does everyone ALWAYS compare John Mayer's voice to the original Michael Franks??? John Mayer isn't even in the same league.Maybe after 17 glasses of wine, two shots and a bottle of straight whiskey, maybe then they'll start to sound faintly similar... but even that's a stretch.
