  • what she just said was this,

i am going to hell by choice, for eternity.

  • i'm bringing marshmellows to hell.

  • You know that blaspheming or denying the HOLY SPIRIT is an unpardonable sin, talked about in the bible and can cause the person proclaiming this to be damned in hell, maybe you said it in jest or your trying to make the videos go viral, or maybe you simply deny GOD and his HOLY SPIRIT in real life, I encourage you to ask GOD for forgiveness before its too late...ask GOD to forgive you for blaspheming his HOLY SPIRIT . i have some videos on my channel about Jesus,

    God bless & help you

  • @phirefish "You know that blaspheming or denying the HOLY SPIRIT is an unpardonable sin"

Oh, we do know. That is the whole point of the Blasphemy Challenge, you dimwit :D

  • @Kalevala87

Galatians 6:7 " Be no deceived; GOD is not mocked; for whatsoever a a man sows, that shall he also reap"

Mathew 12:36 " But I say unto you, that every idle word* that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement"

  • @phirefish Yeah, quoting your fantasy novel is still not that impressive.

  • Jesus has appeared to me a number of times throughout my life and even before I came into this screwed up world I was with Him. And I'm by no means the only person He's paid visits to. LOTS of little kids and adults have had encounters with Jesus, especially in NDEs.

Hard to fathom why people openly reject Jesus and take hell over Heaven...

My understanding of how souls are destroyed is that satan dispatches demons when a person sleeps ... when it's your turn call out to Jesus in THAT moment!!

  • @guyNbluejeans

You know what sounds better than Heaven? Asgard. Being a Son of the North Wind, I'd rather take my place in the halls of Valhalla than get stuck in Christian Heaven. Place is boring as Hell. Actually, it's probably more boring than hell.

  • @SirKickz Good luck to you with wherever your final destination is. For myself, I'll go first class and GRATEFULLY take what Jesus offers my once sin-stained soul when my life runs its course, no problem!

  • I know for a personal FACT that the Holy Trinity is a reality. I just hope that these folks taking this so-called challenge ... would repent and that all videos of this nature would disappear, as I don't want anyone going to you-know-where when their souls leave this world!

Seriously people, don't fall for this satanic trap! Go weed the garden or make some pot-holders or take a walk through the park, but don't do this nonsense because there's nothing good to let your ego be bated this way!

  • no thanks ,

i dont want to spend eternity in hell,

i dont want to be cast into the lake of fire, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth..

    jesus christ is my savior.

    jesus is lord.

  • @999Thip

Jesus Christ is the asshole throwing people into that lake of fire.

  • @AtheistExplains hmmm, i believe you have been misinformed.-

jesus came so one can excape the fires of hell.

jesus came to earth so one can be saved from eternal punishment.

its faith in him we are saved from hell.

    so now you know.

you are without excuse on the day of judgement.

    jesus is lord

  • @999Thip

    Misinformed?

As I understand it, your 3-in-1 Jesus-God is the only person sending people to hell. He made the rules, he enforces the rules, he made hell, and then gave no proof of his existance (excluding proof that is as valid as the Koran, Golden Verses of Pythagoras, Great Hymn to the Aten, etc).

The buck stops with your Jesus-God. He's the person sending people to hell.

  • @AtheistExplains as for me, i belive in god and his plan for salvation 4 mankind,

it was mankind who sinned againts god ,

hell was not made for man in the beginning, it was made for those fallen angles who followed satan.

man has a choice to accept or reject jesus christ,

the responabilty is purly on the person

stop being a liberal and take responability.

  • @999Thip

If the choice is mine, then I'll choose not to go to hell. I still won't believe in your god.

Now if you know anything about your own theology, you know that god will throw me into a hell anyway (if you're correct). So obviously, your god is the person throwing people into hell.

Or are you talking about the choice to be coerced into believing in a ghost by the threat of a mythical place called hell? Your religion is nothing more than a mafia with a make believe mob boss.

  • @AtheistExplains you missed the point again, will liberals ever pay attention-

the choice is to accept what jesus did for you on the cross, or not..

i must tell you the truth, to think you might spend eternity is hell and be punished by whicked sprits, and your cry for help will go unanswered, along with weeping and gnashing of teeth, well.

lets say i wont loose any sleep,

  • @999Thip

Oh. So you're a bad person. Well why didn't you say so at the beginning? I could have avoided all of this.

  • @AtheistExplains only god is good.

so we are all in the same boat....sinners

  • @999Thip

A mass murderer who enslaves nations, encourages the rape of girls, orders the deaths of infants, has committed genocide again and again, and created the most batshit system of salvation and damnation is the only 'good' thing?

    You've got an interesting dictionary

Face it, you're basing all of this on myth-information. A ghost story. A fairy tale. An ancient legend. Just as stupid as all of the other religions you reject.

  • @AtheistExplains clearly you dont understand so you insult.

do you really believe you wont be held accountable for your deeds, here on earth..

  • @999Thip

I find it interesting that when I accurately describe your god and then you think that I'm insulting him.

Who is going to hold me accountable after I'm dead? Oh...I see. You believe that there is a ghost that haunts my body called a soul, and a super ghost that will judge it and send my ghost to a different dimension/magical fairyland called Heaven or hell.

But go ahead and tell me again how your laughable bronze age myth is something I should take seriously.

  • @AtheistExplains its clear you have made your choice in not to accept jesus as your lord and savior,, its ok my me, you cant prove there is not a place of everlasting torment,

go ahead and take that chance,

its clear you dont know how long eternity is., do you really think all these people from the beginning of mankind are wrong, but you know different,ok wise one

  • @AtheistExplains you have not answered my question yet-

do you really believe you will not be judged for your deeds done here on earth..

    tic toc

  • @AtheistExplains not if you repent...

  • @AtheistExplains only your kind

  • @AtheistExplains its not jesus thats puts you in the lake of frie for eternity,

its your failure to repent and accept him as lord and savior..

    your pride,

your disbelief will put you in hell, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth..

its a heartbeat away, folks, wake up

  • @999Thip

I see that logic is wasted on you.

You are so blinded by your dogma that you can't see that an entity that'd hide itself away from everyone and then torture those that don't believe in it for all eternity is a cunt.

You can't see that ghost stories that are nearly identical to all of the other religions you say are undoubtedly false are also worthy of doubt and skepticism, if not outright rejection.

  • @AtheistExplains i see you are a person of little faith..

    oh sad.

  • matt 10:32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 but whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.

eternity is real, time is short, most will miss heaven but for those who chose jesus while you had the chance ill see you in heaven,

  • YOU"RE ALL GOING TO HELL!!!!!! Now then where would I find the closest Catholic Church with innocent young boys to mole---bah---ah--I mean give the word of god to? Pastor Grabbs Yerbawls.

  • I'd make her speak in tongues.

  • And why should I? I'm not that stupid!

  • I am a ex muslim and I deny the existence of God too.

  • @MrSmartMuslim

    Rock on, dude.

  • @MrSmartMuslim sure, idiot

  • shes a bitch fuck you atheists

  • and i should too? FUCK YOU BITCH.

  • An exploding star known as Type 1a supernova. The Nobel Prize 2011 winners used them to measure the expansion of the universe; while in Quran was a mentioned that the universe is expanded now the Nobel must be given to prophet Mohammad peace be on him (And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. (47) And the earth we have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. (48) And of all things we created two mates; perhaps you will remember).quran

  • @mazzroa Are you a professional idiot or do you still retain your amateur status?

  • I agree with you that I should and I do deny there false god.

  • It is amazing how some people commenting here still believe in a hell that was invented by the catholic church in the 5th century. Get it through your heads. There is no god or hell. I feel the same way she goes. Do some research Christians out side the bible and find out where myths came from instead of blindly worshiping your false god.

  • Hey sweetheart you shouldn't say that, I said that once and a 3 headed pizza monster chased me down the street on a unicorn!!! Nice vid, respect from Scotland x

  • matt 10:32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 but whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. (jesus)

1 cor 1:18 for the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

  • "First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." (2 Peter 3:3-4) "They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie" (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11)

  • O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, nor will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver. (33) Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

  • @mazzroa it seems that you don't get that Atheists don't believe you, do you?

  • @DocStrange0123

Atheists do you believe that if i put aluminum and steel and little cuber pluse rubber & zinc then I put it in big mixer and mix for 1 million year the result will be an airplane boing 747 or air Buss this what you tell me about BIG BANG made the revers and trees fish and mankind brides and sun moon coming & going in time nothing happened by sudden there must be a creator and he is Allah the one absolute there non like in to him, think before too late to think ..

  • @mazzroa You are mixing Biology with Astronomy... nice job... ¬¬

  • To deny the Holy Spirit is the only Unforgivable sin .to a Christian who has full knowledge of the events of the end and knows better. Not just anyone can commit that. and it can only be commit at a certain time. You people should be careful you don't even know who you are or why your here. In my eyes its like have the old guy on the corner tell you the train never uses the track play on them all you want, might as well fall asleep on them. Then the train comes.

Moral of story is don't trust man

  • This was made nearly 5 years ago; Lindy's had a baby since then which provokes some questions. How does Lindy now feel about this "holy spirit" thing she denied believing 5 years ago? Has becoming a parent changed Lindy's views at all about "holy spirits" and other superstitious nonsense? Is Lindy going to encourage her offspring to deny "holy spirits" as well or will she just never mention "holy spirits" to her child thereby negating the need to deny such a thing exists?

  • @AtheistOnTheEdge

I don't see why having a child should change any of this for people.

Child bearing is a completely natural and explainable event that lends no credibility into this situation...but its interesting to think about, as not every atheist is so scientifically minded.

  • @AtheistOnTheEdge I'm an atheist and I also have two young boys. Their grandmother is catholic, goes to church, has OCD and is a very nervous, uninformed person, in other words, the perfect catholic.

My children will grow up to look at the world in a critical way. To ask questions and find out for themselves what is real and what is not. They will grow up to make no distinctions in race, color, creed, or nationality. They will grow up to know when someone is trying to sell them snake oil.

  • Well you can't deny me anymore! I'm a real person and you should definitely watch my testimony. Hell is a real place and you don't want to go there!

  • @lahorichikur Jesus!

  • I believe in God. I just dont believe or follow these religions that make him out to be an evil tyrant. Christians make god out to be an evil dictator that throws souls into hell for their slightest infractions A.K.A. Human nature.

  • Bad choice!

  • lord have mercy, she's sealed her fate.. i didn't really think someone, that was sort of young would just... do, something so, foolish...dude... i could really cry.. i can't even ask the father to quench the flames she will feel....

  • @thesoundoftruth1 Yep, you got nothing. That's okay though, you can believe what you want, no one ever said you coudn't. Just as long as you are a good person. But don't go attacking people cause they believe differently than you do. If you can do that, we can live happily together no matter what.

  • @thesoundoftruth1 Yes they are. People have been beaten and killed by their own families for coming out as atheists. The whole point of these "blasphemy challenge" videos is to provide support to people who are atheists. Yet they are constantly under attack, but christians who feel threatened.

And I don't think you quite understand what you are saying, it is your resposibility to prove the existance of your God. Maybe you don't like to hear it, but that is the case still.

  • @thesoundoftruth1 The burden of proof is on you friend. I'm a christain turned atheist. And the reason for that is I realized that there was no proof of Gods existance. So if there is no proof, why should I believe? You prove that an invisible, omnipresent, infinite, all good, all powerful, and all knowingl, magical man in the sky made everything and I will consider becoming a christian again.

  • @humansaretheworld

I disagree. I feel that Non believers can never stop the message that we put out. For until every single discriminating, hateful, ignorant, mass murder promoting, piece of shit religion is completely removed from the face of the earth I will press for every person to become an non-theist.

  • Ancient astronaut theory is what proves god (and really all deity religions) to be misinterpretations of advanced beings visiting earth in the distant past. Call me crazy, but i'll say the same to you if you think Earth is the only planet that has intelligent (LOL Humans intelligent, right) life on it.

Though I wouldn't say ALL religions are a sham. I myself am fond of a few Asian philosophies. Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, they're all perfectly fine. Most everyone else is the cause of war.

  • @joshdaugherty1111

Humans are in fact intelligent, as much as that might not be immediately evident. Realistically, yes, there are several other known planets that could support life in the same way as Earth, as well as many that are unknown. The galaxy is big enough, however, that the likeliness of it even being possible to visit another of those planets is essentially none without Faster Than Light travel, which at this point appears impossible. Here's hoping we're wrong.

  • @Thor27436 Worm holes, Concepts we haven't even dreamed of yet, Cryogenics, and even at say 50% speed of light, it's possible to travel the universe. I heard somewhere they believe if you reach a high enough speed (99% speed of light) you wont age nearly as fast as the things around you or you left behind. Meaning you can leave earth in 2020 for what seems to be 5-10 years for you and come back and its 3000 and beyond.

  • Hi, I'm an atheist so that gives me the right to say that religion is stupid, not like that makes me an asshole or anything, wait a second...

  • @Mr3pix3xtra hi im a religious nut and i say that im not an asshole but when people tell me that they do not share the same beliefs as me i go and threaten them with eternal tourture but im not evil or anything, wait a second.....

  • i deny satans world system please log on to equip.org

  • @soulkiss1001 Shut up with your equip.org already.

  • @Jesusisonhisway1 don't you think it would have to say a lot that there would be angles who were once considered "good" who decided to rebel? Ever wonder what could possibly bring them to want to rebel since they actually have the upper hand over humanity because they get to know god personally yet they decided they didn't want to be friends with him any more. I think only one reason that would happen, and that is, if god exists he is probably a douche bag.

  • BENNY HINN NEEDS TO BE SET FREE FROM HIS GRANDFATHERS INFLUENCE

  • another hot atheist. now get back here and deny somemore for the lads

  • wow ppl are nuts give it a rest if you dont belive or you do keep it to yourself .

  • @NWBE4ST When believers stop pushing their beliefs on others is when nonbelievers can give it a rest. Believers dominate this as nonbelievers would have nothing to not believe were it not for believers. People with strong tribal identities(religion) must be

intolerant of "the others" as it is an integral aspect of tribalism. Groupism is divisive.

  • @humansaretheworld Only 10 percent of all Americans are athiest. The other 90 percent are ignorant and clueless.

  • @LACraig621 almost 17% now! yay! The tea party has actually been helping us out xD

  • @LACraig621 To be fair, most of the 10% are ignorant and clueless as well.

  • @humansaretheworld The believers that dont push their beliefs on others see their beiefs cease to exist. Isnt it odd they never wonder WHY that happens.

  • @NWBE4ST LOL!

"wow ppl are nuts give it a rest if you dont belive or you do keep it to yourself"

You should tell that to Harold Camping. Or Fred Phelps. Or Ken Hovent. Or Ray Comfort. Or Pope Bennie the Rat. Or VenomfangX. Or the guy on the corner of Dundas and Bloor handing out flyers and yelling at people to BELIEVE!!!!!

  • @NWBE4ST oh but your people can go out and evangelize everyone else including us and NOT keep your beliefs to yourselves? cool. I get it it's a double standard, totally explanatory. ;) You sir, are smart.

  • what a dumb way to end it all

  • i deny your denial of the holy spirit

  • Have you ever noticed how so many atheist women are hot?

  • @BrainEatingApe

better developed brains go with better developed bodies!!!

  • @BrainEatingApe Yeah, but you never really seem to meet the hawt ones in real life

  • atheism is evil

  • I suppose the Catholic Church telling AIDs victims in Africa that condoms are a sin isnt evil at all. If you arent going to back your statements up like I did your opinion is unimportant and meaningless

  • Image her saying the opposite... yuk, such a turnoff lol

  • Ah for once. A nice looking girl that denies the holy spirit! Wahey! :D

  • If the first law of thermodynamics is true then the universe has always existed. But, the universe has NOT always existed, and "science" explains that the universe underwent a sort of "bang" or "sudden expansion" and then everything has thus evolved. If matter cannot be created or destroyed then the "bang" could not have happened without a Creator. You don't even have to be religious to understand this.

  • @YouMadButISwag Where did the creator come from then? Oh, and quantum fluctuation. There, energy appearing out of nothing. Yeah, it happens.

  • @maxergud Quite the contrary, if you look at quantum physics, the idea is that some particles appear within the atom to cease to exist and then reappear. This is actually a confirmation that GOD is continuing his creative process. He essentially creates the particles continually, and without Him, we would all cease, because the process would cease. But you can't prove God's presence or absence with science, and I think you and I know that.

  • @YouMadButISwag I disagree, but let's leave it at that. And you are right, deities can't be proven/disproven - which is why i am an agnostic atheist.

  • @YouMadButISwag It's not the remit of science to either prove or disprove the theory of God. That's your choice to believe in it/Him/them. You're attributing a naturally occuring physical process to the Judeo/Christian God, which is incredibly limited in my opinion. I don't believe in God/god/gods because I think as a species we're about ready to move on from that part of our development, over time, I think it will, but we're not there yet.

  • @Jude2Mahoney cool story?

  • @YouMadButISwag Cool story? Are you certain that this comment was aimed at me?

  • @Jude2Mahoney yes..?

  • @Jude2Mahoney "I don't believe in God/god/gods because I think as a species we're about ready to move on from that part of our development, over time, I think it will, but we're not there yet."

are you stupid? islam is slowly taking over the world

  • @YouMadButISwag Am I stupid? Mmmm, no. Don't think so. I have a First Class Honours degree in a technical subject and have studied the ancient classics since being a teenager, I'm extensively travelled and have lived all across this globe of ours. If you think "Islam is slowly taking over the world" then you're mildly paranoid at least, at best, misinformed. Does Islam need to reconcile itself, sure, is it "taking over the world", I doubt it. Prejudice is never a substitute for intellect.

  • it amazes me how ignorant you 'athiests' realy are commiting an aleged 'SIN' , against a person you claim doesnt even exist. and by the way the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when people were accusing of Jesus of performing miricles under the power of beelzebub or demnic satanic powers instead of the spirit of God. this sin was unique and cannot be commited today. well now you know so take this rediculous supercilious patheticly ignorant video of youtube.

  • I saw the original, ten second version of this clip. The "manager" of the massage parlor she works at swings open the door and yells for her to stop screwing around, there's clients in the lobby.

  • you are so idiotic! your going to burn in hell! why would you say such a thing????

  • @operationMONKEYdoctr And you worship a God that will let her burn in hell. :/

  • 1 Second......It only takes 1 second.1 second for any human being to understand and to know what God is.By expressing with your mouth that his son is the Lord........And a scientist will need 1'000,000 of years for him to really understand this.Because that's how things work for them correct?..........0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 times is clicking...............!

  • "I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God." Luke 12:8-9

  • Comment removed

  • @pmoyer50 Well, in western countries, the major religion IS christianity. They're the 'main' "opponent", so they go first. Oh, and for menot (or me) to even acknowledge satan is to go against what being an atheist is (Since god must be there for satan to exist). :P Believing that the world is black/white is very naive.

  • Yay Another sensible person speaks out.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I deny the existence of the sun and the moon and so should you.

  • @careypeak23 At least the sun and the moon are real! Maybe when I can look up in the sky and see the old man (God) than I may change my mind.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind There is no such thing as absolutes. For all you know the sun and the moon are props. Maybe god is the sun and the moon. When you say there is no god, you mean god as defined by religion. There are a million ays to define god. Quantum physics describes god. Thats not religious at all. Its called freedom of choice. Athiests and christians have no right to corner the market on such an interpretive word. That is plain ignorant. God is a bowl of ice cream.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I deny the existence of ice cream. I was molested by an ice cream man when I was a child so I don't believe in ice cream. Freedom of choice, right ? I deny the existence of athiests.

  • @careypeak23 A little bit confused and convoluted are we? Please explain to me your train of thought on how you correlate a god (Make believe as far as we can tell) with real objects that can be empirically proven to exist regardless of whether you believe or not? You can deny the moon, sun, ice cream and atheists, but they are tangible and real and are not reliant on any ones belief. However, religions& god are totally dependent on whether there is a believer or not. Thanks for your comment.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind The god u say dosen't exist is the one as defined by religious institutions. And I agree, that god dosen't exist. But if I believe that god is acts of unconditional love, than now god becomes a verb, an action. If you want to oppose the god that religions forces onto people, I am with you. But if you say that I can't define god as happiness, or a great orgasm, or even accomplishing the unthinkable, then I would say you are stuck on the religious interpretation of god.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind And btw, if you know anything about quantum physics, time is a distance. All of this is actually an illusion. Even seperatism is an illusion. So, actually, science would tell u all mass is connected and is one. So, is there any difference between ice cream, the sun, and god (as any individual chooses to define that word). Once again, Atheists and christians define the word god the same. You both think it is a person, a being, a diety. R u still convoluted as to my point?

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind U have the right to define god as nothing, and I have the right to define god as acts of unconditional love. Like John Lennon said, "all you need is love". Like Frank Zappa said, "movements don't work". Love isn't exclusive to an organization , a race, a region, or a genre. The word god is not exclusive to meaning only what religious institutions say it does. Study the history of the word, it dosen't come from religion.

  • @careypeak23 You are correct with your statement, but unfortunately we are not discussing origins of words, the context of what this video pertains to is the typical god as it relates to religion. You can argue that god to you means the serenity of a lake, or how a puppy or kitten makes you feel, but that is a different situation and discussion. I am glad you brought up unconditional love, I have it for my kids and grand kids. But does the god of religion have it for us? I think not.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Religion has twisted the meaning of god, written books, started movements, and basically attempted to corner the market on defing this word. Truth is, Jesus taught 180 degrees the opposite of what christians believe. If he were to come back, he would disassociate himself with the religion that bears his name. He called religious leaders a brood of vipers and hypocrites. He hung out with the rejected. The ones who didn't observe jewish law. He never said he was god either.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind We all know what the right thing to do is in any situation, but we don't always do what is best for us. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. We reason within ourselves, we have a conversation with ourself where we weigh the pros and cons the upside and the downside. I think one voice is 'our personal holy spirit'. The other is our feelings, nerves, pride, and ego. Descisions should never be made based on emotions, but we all live a mixture, religious, atheists and all in between

  • @careypeak23 The concept of right and wrong is arbitrary, for the most part most of us live with certain rules & boundaries, since that is what makes it the most amicable to deal with others. As for your inner holy spirit, who am I to deny you that pleasure that you receive from that. You can try to explain it to people, but you should not expect them to accept or believe just because you do. Just because I am an atheist, I can air my ideas to you, but I don't expect you to accept it blindly.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I'm not talking about a corporate right and wrong. I'm not talking about a set of rules. I'm talking about detailed descisions in our own personal lives that have to actually use the reasoning process. Take Charlie Sheen for example. Or Jimmy Swaggart. Its fair to say they made some bad descisions. They reasoned within themselves and chose fear over love. Not in every case, but in some aspects of their life. We all do. We all make good and bad descisions. We have a choice.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Sometimes we look back in retrospect and see how we didn't know what was right at the time, but later we saw what we thought was a good choice wasn't such a good choice, and how a random descision avoided unforseen circumstances that we could have never known. I think that voice in us knows us better that we know ourselves. If we obey it even when we don't know why, we see later how it was a good choice for us. And if not, we receive the other outcome, which sucks.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Christians would not call that voice the holy spirit. I deny the existence of the holy spirit in the context that christians and atheists use, but then there are the minority who do understand that there is a voice in all of us that has our best interest at heart, and it is benificial to do as it advises. Its not religious, and it isn't a set of rules. It is life. It is who we all are. Life is a journey, and an easy one if we can move the ego aside to hear clarity.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind So basically, I think that is what the holy spirit is. So yes, I find it humorous that atheists define these concepts and words the same as christians, and even quote the bible to prove their point. It seems as though most atheists are former christians that feel a need to become part of a different movement. Its natural to want to identify with a group of people that feel the same way you do, but at the end of the day it looks and sounds like another religion to me.

  • @careypeak23 I never use the bible to prove my point, unless it is a discussion about the bible and its validity. I was religious at one time, but not a Christian. Yes some atheists lash out and are even in some cases worst than a born again fanatic. As for your last comment, are you referring to atheism as a religion? Please clarify this.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Maybe not as organized, but it is rapidly becoming an organized movement/religion. From Bill Mahar to Richard Dawkins, the evangelists are in place. Look at how many people find the need to post these blasphemy challenges. If someone goes to the trouble of labeling themselves an atheist, they are basically saying that they agree, identify, and align themselves with this movement/religion. Then there are those who don't find the need to call themselves anything.

  • @careypeak23 Atheism is not a religion, but it does fit somewhat in the category of a movement. Just because we are called atheists and then making a blanket statement is not correct, not anymore than considering right to lifers who kill others by shooting them or blowing up an abortion clinic and then condemning all Christians and calling them killers. I do not see a problem with atheism, at least the reasonable ones. Religion had its chance for thousands of years, maybe it's the atheists turn.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Of course no self proclaimed atheist would ever label the movement as a religion, but it does have fanatics(Columbine,Manson and many others) and it does have websites, books, evangelists, videos, a core belief and goal. And just like christianity, some are more fanatical and vocal than others. Zeitgeist is a perfect example. Mahar,Joseph, and Dawkins have a goal. Marilyn Manson has a goal. They have followers. Movement/religion, not much difference. U chose the label, not me

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I know alot of people that don't believe in god but at the same time refuse to label themselves as atheists because they are intelligent, open minded people that refuse to pigeonhole their beliefs into a title. Then there are the easily led who embrace the title and join the club, make their blasphemy video and buy the books and the t shirt. Whatever happened to independent thought. There isn't just one way. That is ignorance. Even scientists don't believe one way, but many.

  • @careypeak23 What else would you call someone who does not believe in any god or higher power controlling our lives? You are also making a blanket statement that all atheists are the same, it would also be unfair to say that the religious are all alike, yet they have their beliefs. I think like with the religious, the atheists should be dealt with on a case to case basis. I have great relationships with those who are believers, one of my friends just finished his training at the seminary.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind There are many different sects of christianity, but they all share one fundamental belief. If you don't believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins then you are not considered a christian. You stated the criteria for atheists, and all atheists believe that. So you say yourself that one thing that is the same with all atheists is that they all reject a diety. Of course people are all unique. I never said all atheists are the same.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I do believe in a diety, but not as defined by any religion. Christians firmly reject my views as equally as atheists. But I know many people who share my views. We don't have a name, a leader, a statement of belief or books, buldings, videos, or evangelists. We just are. We believe in god, but not as defined by religion. Like I said, I agree with Jesus, but I firmly reject the interpretation and spin that religion has put on it. Its the opposite of what Jesus taught.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I like Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison. They would always point out how Jesus was right, and Christians today would kill him. I agree. Christians would fry him up because he would say the same thing to them that he said to the religious leaders in his day. "Hypocrites and teachers of the law". " You are a brood of Vipers". Like Hicks says, "Somebody shut him up. I have alot invested in this".

  • @careypeak23 Yes those two were controversial in there day. Once you got over Sam's yelling, he was actually quite funny. Yes there are those who take advantage of the faithful, and I am sure that there are those who take advantage of atheists also. Where there is money to be made there is also a snake in the grass. Some atheists I feel are that way cause it is a way of stirring up the bee hive. My excuse is, I was religious, got wrong answers, than started seeing religion in a new bad light.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind Just looking at the debates the christians and atheists are having on this video alone, it is plain to see that it is 2 belief systems colliding. If all scientists were self proclaimed atheists, that would be a different story. If all were christians it would be a different story. But thats not the case. At least we have had some intellegent conversation and I respect the dialogue we have been able to establish.

  • @careypeak23 The way YT decides to send replies to comments leaves gaps, sorry , but I had to look over each statement to find what I had missed.

Let me throw this one out and see what you think. Since we will never know what really kicked it off, I may have found an answer acceptable to most. What if some arbitrary energy force started it all, but does not have a conscious as we know it, and created all of this without even knowing it did, like the rain that falls benefits whatever can use it

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind When I say god as a verb, love as a verb, I mean all encompassing. All life and energy exist because of love. I think the evolution of the universe is fueled by energy called love. Not as an entity, and random as hell. Christians would say we are both full of shit, but I think you and I decribed the same thing. I call that energy god, love, life, etc. I think these words at their most extreme are synonomous. I do firmly reject the god taught by organized religions.

  • @careypeak23 I'm in the wilderness quite a bit and see the workings of nature and how it relates to each other. Simply, everything is being eaten or being used by something else, some are symbiotic relationships, some reticent of the fact that they are a meal, but thats just the way it is, an acceptance. I try to be more of a realist, the glass is either half empty or half full, depending on if you are adding or subtracting the liquid. Love is a great thought, but not the driving force.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I think everything is infinite. We were something before and we will be something again. What we think is deathand tradgedy is life and love from a different perspective. The end of our life is the beginning of another. There is no time. Time is a distance. The universe is a snapshot that dosen't change. It just is. Time is an illusion. I don't have a then and now. I'm part of the universe. I just am. I am life love. Patrt of the collective universe. I call that god.

  • @careypeak23 I actually see your point, at least it is not religious driven. Your view of the universe is as valid as any other theory till some better information is presented. You have no idea about where you (Or your life force) were before you were born, and you will have no recollection of your experience here after you leave, hence the nothingness when your physical body dies. As I said before, nature uses everything, but as nature destroys, a new life begins, it's just part of the cycle.

  • @EchosFromaBlankMind I think life, love, truth , god, energy have an upside and a down side. The yeng and yang. Positive negative. Good evil. Happy sad. Right wrong. Its all part of the deal. We go on forever as something else. All of this already happened. Jesus taught that shit and the religious and political leaders wanted him dead. Christians teach the opposite of this. Christians hate what I say, they say I have a demon. Enjoy the ride. It seemed so plausible.

  • @careypeak23 Funny you should mention that, I have always said that the only demons are the ones we create for ourselves. Nature always has an opposite to one thing or another, it is how balances are maintained. Too acidic, add alkaline, too hot, add cold. Even the visible light spectrum shows us this, the absence of light is darkness, yet the combination of the entire spectrum is white light. We may never know for certain of an existence of a god, but we know for at least now, we live.
