Great Great speech by Vidwan TMK. Listening to his Sreenathadi Guruguho and this.... what a multiple personality is his? God bless him. I am also confused when he says, Michael Jackson is as similar to Shemmangudi. Perhaps he said this in lighter vein I think, since the purpose of karnatak music is more spiritual, while MJ's is more materialisic! I may be wrong and if so, stand to be corrected. What ever, TMK is a great musicologist.

While the energy in the speech was invigorating, the depth or content was hollow - compensated by his humility.
