  • 1. if you're hurting your knuckles on that bag, you need them wrapped, period. And if it's superloaded as you say then there's no excuse for you to be training bareknuckle. 2. The bicep curls are okay but try to keep those upper arms parallel with your body for a better rep that really hits that bicep.

  • Good work! The hardest part is just getting out and doing it, the weight sled is an excellent choice!

  • Thats actually one of the top 20 strongman training gyms in the country. Try lugging that sled around for a little while and you will know what a REAL workout is like :-)

  • Dude, personally I don't lug around with sleds; I sprint with 'em. ;)

    The gym looks awesome, no doubt about that. I simply "made fun of" your obvious lack of training experience which you show in the video (and the choice of music of course). And there's really nothing wrong with that, we've all been there.

  • Dude-Please change that gay ass music for fucks sake. Also work your form-your dumbell curls or were they hammer curls looked weird. Do you work with CJ Murphy of Total Performance Sports?

  • That gay ass music is Graupner and I used it for a favor to a bud. they were hammer curls and why my form could always use more work I just added those for kicks, it was all about the sled and the ball. I forget the name of that place but hopefully will be working out there again soon

  • Just for the record, as far as punching goes. Look, its at BEST a necessary evil but the bag is a good workout. That bag is a very special bag thats loaded superheavy. In highschool I got in an incredible number of fights and learned how to kick major ass because, well, I had no choice in the matter! I'd MUCH rather resolve a conflict with words than ass kicking, but I know that if I HAVE TO, I can DO IT, BigTime! :O)

  • Oh yeah, I plan on going back to that gym again, It's not my main gym, but some VERY BIG STRONG guys work out there and I plan on getting in some very heavy workouts there :O) Time to kick it up a notch! Thanks a lot Raul, woof!

  • Hey Robo, don't sweat it, and there's nothing wrong with slow when one is very thick lol. I never saw one of those machines until last week myself. It's a weighted sled that strong men used to train their ability to pull great amounts of weight. Good Stuff!

  • First time I've ever seen someone wear a vest-to-sled device. 25 pound weights x 2... plus how heavy that metal thing without the wheels --- scraping the driveway. A real eye opener.

  • Well I started out with 45 lbs weights and pushing it! didnt get that on cam. I was told to lighten the weight because that was the first time I'd done it, but that metal to tarmac coefficient of friction is HIGH! Trust me LOL

  • Damn Mike! That was some heavyduty training you were putting yourself through. That sled pull must have been grueling as hell. I have hit those weighted bags before and its no fun. Love the workout, the dumbell curls even that fancy footwork.

    At the end when I saw the small kids with their MMA gear all I could think of was the Seinfeld episode where Kramer was kicking ass on the 'little kids' and playing himself up! Started laughing thinking of that.

  • Its a weighted sled, World Strongest Men types using it to build leg strength, heck, whole body strength. I was pushing it around too by the poles with even more weight than I was dragging. I'm FEELING that now, trust me lol
