  • euro 10 schwarz welt plakette:)

  • nice!

  • Who is the manufacturer of the locomotive and kakos is named exactly the same model.

  • where is the big white V on the front?:P

  • @OspreyCZ euro countrys dont usually let cows run wild no need for it to be there

  • cool!

  • where is the coal stoker in action?

  • Amazing, beautiful machines. Can't get enough of them!

  • CIUF CIUF CIUF FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

  • Well, if it's steam, it's great as far as I am concerned. More . . . please.

  • get a tripod, people.

take a look at the big boy!!!germany do the same 30 years (br 96 war das glaub ich)before!thats 2 generations before!!!so,shut your mouth!!!

  • @gabilatexluder

Was redest du da eigentlich fürn müll?

What on earth are you talking?

Even at the time when GT2x4/4 was introduced there were big mallets in the USA.

Also, the 96 was in no way something like "the same" as the Big Boy. The Big Boy was 3 scales bigger. So shaddap..

  • Latest news : according to some people , German engineering is bad .We learn really every day...

  • I prefer North American trains I've always had an interest in German/Austrian Railways and also in British Railroads

  • Nothing compared to powerful American locomotives.

Even the multi-note whistles are better.

  • German steam engines are bad ass, British steam engines look like toys XD

  • German trains are pretty cool I always really liked them

  • I rode this very same steam engine last year while over there on a tour

  • Sehr schön.

  • @edj66 can you see where the inspiration for the British Railway's standard locomotives came from? Not ugly, easy to maintain!

  • @32678knowle Well yes, I agree, easier to maintain, but still comparatively ugly. I dunno, even the streamlined German locomotives just don't have the same graceful lines as the British ones. Even the standard ones. Maybe I am biased.

  • @edj66

German trains are definitely NOT ugly, they're bad ass.Easier to maintain? I dont think so, British steam engines have their valve gear within the frame, this can be very annoying.

  • Excellent video

  • wot a great video mate i love it 5stars and fav

  • Excelent !

  • Lovely piece, lovely loco. To me, that red and black livery has always added to German steam. Many thanks, excellent.

  • 5*****!

  • It depends on the fireman and the quality of the coal. For example, that mined in England is first-rate, while Indian coal is worthless - the former burns cleanly and with little smoke while Indian and Chinese coalgive off LOTS of smoke when they burn.

  • Actually with the single exception of American Anthracite all coal has some smoke to it. However Anthracite is very rare, very expensive, and required special locomotives to burn. This lead to only a few railroads using it. Such as the Reading and the Erie. Oil fired locomotives tend to burn clean as well.

  • im no steam train buff, but y is it sometimes theres black smoke coming out the chimny and sometimes white, is it to do with coal, speed, air temp? cheers

  • If the coal burns good it will give white smoke, if it's burning less good the smoke will become darker.

  • this is a great locomotive.

  • Vielen Dank!

  • Looks like she is blowing most of the coal out the stack unburned

  • If only model dampfloks could smoke so good!

  • yeah i agree.

however the smoke model trains use allready makes a mess on the track so what kind of mess would black smoke make?
