I like the songs that have the vocals because it does make it sound like the original, and therefore it's easier to sing.

@mysterious1961 good point. as for me. if I hear people going so high, it's hard for me to go an octave lower. so I end up singing in my soprano head voice. instead of my alto chest voice. and it ends up sounding very flimsy.
