Well.. i have been working with MS from 2000 to pressent... and started to learn how to develoup in wendows in 2009...

And i have to say... sorry Microsoft... but this is the worst crap to date... even Vista was better then this...

And now we are at the subject.. why make the same interface in all the new OS systems.. The Xbox was good.. The phone was good..

But now?? Now i turn to Mac PC, Apple phone and PS3!!!

They are trying to put a tablet OS onto a desktop environment, which fails miserably. I switched to Linux on many of my computers a long time ago, and I am gonna stick with Linux. Perhaps you could put Linux on that computer.

Great review man! They really need to think this through, touch screens aren't as big a thought. I brought mine and there are no applications that every use touch yet! I also tried it a few monthes back, and it's not that shity at all. The only big problem i had was that these big floating kina buttons are so not windows, otherwise the startmenu is fine for me and i rally liked the ribbon as well. And i'm not a 10 y old girl, i use windows for programing and maybe it is the future of Windows. I think it's cool that everyone can make HTML5 apps for Windows 8

I'm not a fan of windows 8. I use all 3 OS's , I use Linux, I use Mac OSX, and I use Windows 7. All of which have good aspects and bad aspects. Windows 8 however is just pure laziness. Basically Microsoft took their phone OS and put it on a computer for no reason just to fuck everything up. If everything was working fine, WHY DID THEY CHANGE IT? Not to mention, how can this be used in business? Companies will have no use for this! In addition it's torture to use with a mouse sometimes.

If this is what the final version will look like, I am not going to upgrade. While It looks nice and all, but It doesn't work great for Keyboard/Mouse. Microsoft needs to at least have a Desktop (A REAL ONE) version of Windows 8 instead of just one OS mixed with Touch.
